00:00My name is Benz Antoine. I'm playing the role of Dave Bruckner.
00:07I am, for all intents and purposes, a nice man, family man, retired from the police department.
00:16I'm sorry to barge in on Christmas Eve like this.
00:18That's okay. I'm always here for you, Sophie. You know that.
00:23After his injury, which eventually forced him, you know, to retire,
00:30and then also, it's Christmas, so that's, he's making turkey and doing all the nice stuff.
00:37I have a beautiful, ugly sweater that I have worn in many scenes.
00:42It's my first time wearing an ugly sweater, so, and, but apparently it wasn't that ugly,
00:46so I'm looking forward to see how, how people think of it.
00:51The scene that explains the injury, so, so I guess we're going to have to live the injury,
00:55so that's, there's going to be a bit of time, I guess, pre-injury, and then, boom.
00:59So that's, I'm definitely looking forward to shoot.
01:02How does it feel to be obsolete?
01:05Obsolete is a state of mind, amigo.
01:08What I really do between takes is learn my lines.
01:14I'm not necessarily into learning in them so far in advance.
01:22Usually, you know, you do a blocking and stuff like that,
01:24and that's when I soak everything in and soak the environment in,
01:27and when everybody else is relaxing, I'm like, okay, you know what, it's,
01:31I've waited long enough, it's time to get those lines in there,
01:34so it might seem like an odd process, but it's been working for 30 years,
01:39so, so far, so good.
01:42This movie's great because it has a little bit of everything for everyone,
01:47just like I'm hoping for, for everyone to have a great Christmas
01:51and to find whatever it is they're looking for under their tree,
01:54and if they find sworn justice, they're going to get a run for their money, so to speak,
02:01so I'm definitely looking forward to it.
02:04So, I'm definitely looking forward to it.
