00:00As Salaamu Alaykum Sayyidi Walaykum As Salaam wa rehmatullah
00:18Respected Sayyidi, forgive my ignorance.
00:22My question is during meditation, where does the inner eye focus when one is trying to negate
00:28himself?
00:30Walaykum As Salaam wa rehmatullah I think we have the whole thing you have to email
00:35us on the steps of tafakkur and especially in the Naqshbandi way is that you have to visualize
00:44yourself in the presence of the shaykh and that you're sitting in the presence of the
00:49shaykh and if you're not there yet then you visualize yourself at the Ka'bah and at
00:54the light of the Ka'bah dressing you and visualize yourself with the shaykh is right in front
01:00of you and that his light is reflecting to your heart and that you're asking to be nothing
01:06and let the light enter into your heart and to begin to be like a satellite.
01:11That's what we talked about the whole talk tonight was about that before you act.
01:17As Salaamu Alaykum Ya Sayyidi Walaykum As Salaam wa rehmatullah
01:25Does fragrance of the athar we apply attract other people's negativity or nazar?
01:36Yeah this the fragrance is of importance for your spiritual feeling your spiritual energy
01:54and for women they're not to fragrant themselves because if they put a perfume on and they go
02:03out in public then you attract the attention of the opposite and that was not the reality
02:11of the athar for women.
02:14So it was something that has to be guarded and careful because nothing that a woman should
02:21do to attract the energy and the nazar of people and that's why we talked first tonight
02:27about danger that wherever they are in the in the western world whatever world the eastern
02:34world the times are very dangerous the energies are very dangerous we don't know what the reality
02:41of these shots that they have taken what type of energy it's putting into people how are
02:47they trying to change the DNA of people how is their anger you know when somebody is not
02:54able to feed their family their jobs have been lost their businesses have been lost and then
02:59you're forcing them to sit at home because they don't really have a home what type of
03:04crazy anger is going to come into people and on top of that what do they inject them with
03:10to make them angrier again even more.
03:13So all of this insanity of what's happening to people we don't understand its effects.
03:20We as in humanity doesn't know what's about to be unleashed.
03:25So as a result of that these are more of a very precautionary time that try not to attract
03:32the attention that you don't need and you don't know how to get out of that attention.
03:36And for men the same you're not supposed to fragrant yourself for everyone on earth to
03:41smell you it's more for your meditation and your contemplation that you want to beautify
03:47the area of meditation and for your tafakkur and for your salah so that the angels that
03:54are coming in your salah they khushbu they love the fragrance of it.
04:00The jinn that are coming to pray with you they want the good fragrance and the good smell
04:07of that insan.
04:08More from their soul and their heart but until then at least your outside can smell nice.
04:15So these were all for spiritual so Prophet ﷺ described that the salah and the atar are
04:21dear to me.
04:23So these were the states of the salah and the reality of salah to achieve meditation
04:28and salah and to achieve a stronger spiritual connection by fragranting oneself but not for
04:36public and the public to be attracted to and smell you and say, oh what is this?
04:41And that that's the wrong use of these realities.
04:46As Salaamu Alaykum Sayyidi Walaykum As Salaam wa rehmatullah
04:53You had mentioned earlier on the benefits of the rose quartz crystal during meditation.
04:58Does the amethyst crystal possess benefits as well?
05:02Yeah all stones have a have a zikr and a reality, Allah created everything with its reality.
05:14So they have a reality they have a zikr and we can't go through you know thousand stones
05:23what their reality are it's not something that I've spent my life to focus on.
05:28But because of the tafakkur and the contemplation it is important the rose quartz that heats quickly.
05:36As a result of its nature to heat it has a nature to speed up your spiritual connection.
05:47So that when you're meditating and you feel the warmth of the stone it's activating the
05:52lataif on the hands so that they can feel the heat they energize by their heat so that
05:59to be a catalyst in tafakkur.
06:02The turquoise is important for the ring for nazar and bad eye.
06:07The energy that it pulls on people to say, look at me and that's the job that it was supposed
06:12to do and naqiq is a warmth that again it brings a warmth onto the lataif and is good for the
06:20opening of the heart.
06:22Those are the main.
06:23Now you want to go through every single stone and you can I do that, can I do that?
06:27That's from the nafs.
06:29Don't worry about all the things that were not mentioned but implement in life what the
06:33shaykh did mention.
06:35That's a problem.
06:36We get a lot of emails like that.
06:38If I say that turquoise is good then I get five emails, what about this stone, what about
06:42that stone?
06:43But my question back to you is why don't you just follow the stones that we recommended?
06:49Once you master that reality of why we said use the rose quartz that should be sufficient.
06:56Now you just want to know you know 50 different stones that's something different but try to
07:01master what was given out that's what's important that, oh I heard samina wa ta'ana.
07:06Shaykh said rose quartz then I'm going to use it for my meditation my tafakkur and master
07:12that process and that's what's important.
07:15The nafs then let it enter into everything and then question you know like Bani Musa's
07:20people that which cow, red cow, was it a yellow cow, was it a he cow, she cow, what color was
07:28the cow?
07:30It doesn't help anything in the process.
07:33But for sake of just understanding no problem but try to implement what has been given to
07:39us for our practices inshaAllah.
07:42As Salaamu Alaykum Sayyidi Walaykum As Salaam wa rehmatullah.
07:47Can you tell us about the difference in the schools, the different schools in Sufism like
07:58Chishti, Qadri, Sarawati?
08:01You know, they're different schools, Allah raised us in Naqshbandiyatul Aliyya, we find
08:14that to be the most high, most beatific, most powerful.
08:20And there are not many taps that are open of realities, we said that once you try to figure
08:25out the Muhammadan reality and who's teaching that reality, I don't know which tariqahs
08:33you're going to find it in.
08:35What Mawlana Shaykh left open for Naqshbandiya and that is a result of its connection with
08:41Imam Ali and Imam Mahdi .
08:45As a result of Imam Mahdi's sword supporting the tariqah then the knowledges are permitted
08:51to come out.
08:52Without Imam Mahdi's sword nobody can speak these realities because 10,000 people
08:57come to cut their head.
09:00Even they make intention to do that then the sword of Imam Mahdi will reach to them before
09:05they can get up in the morning, inshaAllah.
09:09As Salaamu Alaykum Ya Sayyidi Walaykum As Salaam wa rehmatullah.
09:15Can you please tell us about the concept of istikhara?
09:21The concept of istikhara?
09:23Yeah.
09:24That's to ask a question and to seek guidance from Holy Qur'an.
09:32So they make an intention, they read 3 Suratul Ikhlas, 70 istikhara I think, I think different
09:42shaykhs have different understanding and then they open Huda Qur'an and begin to look
09:48the first 7 verses on the right hand side and read what is good for them.
09:53This alhamdulillah but when Allah send you to living guides that question is going to
10:07already be answered, Allah is sending you to guidance.
10:14So when Allah sends a person to guidance then He says, why you have to make istighfar?
10:19Ask your guide.
10:22So the guide will teach you that's what's important so if you ask and say, okay here are the questions
10:27I have helpmenuhmuhammad.com most likely you'll get a response from us welcoming you for your
10:33first email then second email is that meditation that first learn how to connect your heart
10:39with the shaykhs how to bring that light into your heart and then slowly with this training
10:45of tafakkur and contemplation this istikhara and istikhara this concept of needing to know
10:53inshaAllah that light enters more and more into the heart so that these understandings and
10:57knowledges and the information begin to convey from the heart inshaAllah.
11:04As Salaamu Alaykum Sayyidi Walaykum As Salaam wa rehmatullah
11:09Forgive me can we have a day off from the lentil diet or is it too nafsani?
11:16Yeah the lentil diet was interesting because on a lot of emails that, can I add hot sauce
11:31hot peppers to it can I do this to it can I do that to it and yeah.
11:36The purpose of the lentil diet when we understand its intention was to break down this understanding
11:43of food and eating to live and live to eat are two different understandings.
11:49Most people are 99.9% of all people they're living on this life just to eat and enjoy every
11:56meal possible myself included.
12:00As soon as you enter into lentil diet you eat to live, you don't want to eat anymore.
12:06So somebody has to come and tell you, you have to eat because you're not going to live.
12:11So eat your lentils and then you try to be creative and then you fry the lentils and you
12:16make a lentil salad then you put sugar into lentil desserts and you just stick with the
12:23lentil diet as much as you can it's voluntary and if you want to quit you quit it's no problem.
12:30And then somebody emailed, is this the sunnah can you give me hadith and this people I don't
12:35know where they come from everything they're looking for hadith.
12:38Even one hadith you don't know it why you want to look for hadith for everything.
12:42The lentil diet is has nothing to do with the sunnah of Prophet ﷺ you're asking to learn
12:47how to open your heart.
12:49This is from the way of awliyaullah who have been ordered into seclusion by Sayyidina Muhammad
12:56ﷺ and in seclusion they were told not to eat meat because you take on the characteristic
13:04of the foods that you eat so no seclusion meat is allowed.
13:09You can't have dairy products because of the energy of the animal or meat products.
13:15So lentil had a reality as a heart softening.
13:22So as you eat the lentil and that's why all Tazkiyatul Awliya they have a big dal you know
13:29for their seclusions also for their langar and their food was always a dal because it
13:34was a calming food to give to people.
13:37They don't prefer to serve meat on mass amounts because it makes the energy of people wild
13:44especially in their zawiyahs.
13:45A lot of the reality of the dal and the lentil was to bring the softening of the heart and
13:52the taming of wild energies, animalistic energies.
13:57If you eat a lot of chicken you act like a chicken you're picky on everything, picky
14:01picky picky like you're picking for the worms and because the diet of the chicken is worms
14:08and wild chickens and they have the characteristic of that pickiness.
14:12And if they eat a lot of beef they're like grazing like the cow they just want to graze all day
14:19and night they eating something and then the lamb is a very passive quiet creature and they
14:26carry the characteristics of a more calming creature.
14:30So everybody is what they eat.
14:33Seclusion then was based on no animal energy and to eat the lentil diet had enough protein
14:41and the servant would have the lentil diets and a few dates and tea inshaAllah.
14:48But it's all voluntary so this is not a matter of you know is this something where's the
14:53proof of this, this is the way of awliya, inshaAllah.
14:57As Salaamu Alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu Ya Sayyidi Walaykum As Salaam wa rahmatullah
15:05How to have barakah in our time?
15:10Follow the tariqah, follow the tariqah there's a… we have talks on that on the website anything
15:17you want you go to Nur Muhammad and type in barakah and what is barakah in your life?
15:23What do you do in life that would make you think you have any barakah in your life?
15:29So the barakah are extraordinary events you know the salah, making salah in our belief
15:36is not a barakah for you because Allah ordered you to do it.
15:40You know if you don't pray you're going to have azab in your life you know difficulties
15:45and punishments.
15:47But by praying don't necessarily feel that you have a barakah in your life because you
15:52followed Allah's order that is wajib that you make your salah, that you paid your zakah
15:58these are mandatory so you can't be proud of you made your zakah.
16:02So all of these usool these are mandatory but when you pray sunnah yes that's an immense
16:11barakah because that's something you did from love.
16:15When you give beyond what Allah asked from you this is an immense love.
16:21When you sacrificed all of those by saying, Ya Rabbi I'm going to sit and now do zikr
16:26where I could be out working and making money and doing my you know my life's stuff but
16:33I want to stop for your sake and just sit to show my love for you.
16:37That is immense barakah and that can't even be understood that when you make the zikr
16:42of Allah what type of weight does that have?
16:45What type of love does that have?
16:46You make your salawats you follow the tariqah get the reflection of the shaykhs upon you,
16:52get the madad of the shaykh and all his shaykhs and all his ahlul bayt and all those whom
16:56are supporting that tariqah those shaykhs all of them now their nazar is upon that servant.
17:03And then we said before all of a sudden a love begins to enter onto that servant from the
17:09awliya above from Prophet ﷺ from Ahlul Bayt that love that they put upon that servant makes
17:18that servant to be loved by everyone and that's barakah.
17:24When people like to hire you and you don't know why because you don't maybe even do anything
17:29at work and they're still there you know people want to give you things, people give
17:35you discount, people hear something free.
17:40That's barakah in life because there's something about you they don't understand but you understand
17:46it's Allah's love.
17:47And when Allah loves you Prophet ﷺ loves you, Ahlul Bayt love you, Sahabi love you as a
17:53result.
17:54This Divinely love is emanating upon that servant and that's a barakah in life.
18:01Not the mandatory things but the things that we did out of love Allah accept those love
18:06and Allah dresses that servant with love inshaAllah.
18:10As Salaamu Alaykum Ya Sayyidi Walaykum As Salaam wa rehmatullah
18:16What are the signs to know that the meditation practices are working?
18:20When the meditation is working you're heating up, you're taking an account of yourself,
18:29you're feeling the presence of the shaykh's energy is energy, you're gonna feel your heart
18:35is palpitating and energy is coming and you're gonna know it, you're gonna be hit by lightning.
18:43It's not something unknown, that's when you start emailing that I think you know I'm
18:48having a heart attack is everything okay?
18:51Yeah because they're going to overtake the system so when their light begins to come
18:57and the energy begins to come the servant feels heated, feels an energy coming.
19:01It's not a philosophy at all, they'll feel the changes the energy they have to be consistent
19:08you know and so they're consistent and practicing and practicing they feel more and more energy
19:14more and more energy and so they become lit up and heated where their hands are hot their
19:18neck is hot at all times and when they're in meditation they're in the zikr, they're
19:22under namaz they're at all times they're in a state of tafakkur and being heated up
19:28and being heated up and energized and that's the reality of tafakkur, it's not at all
19:34of philosophy.
19:36InshaAllah ila sharifu Nabi ﷺ wa alihi wa ashabi kiram wa alam al-shaykhina fi tariqatan
19:47ashbandiyyatul al-aliyya wa sahiru wa sadatina wa sadiqin al-fatiha.
19:52Assalamu alaikum wa alayhim
