00:00Sadly, this lion, if left untreated, would literally die.
00:03And it's the first of a thousand animals we're going to be saving in this video.
00:07Here's how.
00:08We'll be using a sniper to vaccinate giraffes from a helicopter.
00:14Rescuing lions from a zoo that was literally bombed.
00:18Relocating massive rhinos before they fight each other to death.
00:21Can add a lot of years to this rhino's life.
00:23And so many more unbelievable rescues.
00:26Starting with performing life-saving surgery on this lion.
00:29This is Dr. Alex. What are we about to do?
00:31This lion has a tooth infection that could literally kill us.
00:34So we're going to perform a root canal to save this lion's life.
00:37We're giving it life-saving surgery to remove the infection in its teeth.
00:40Can you just hold that lip like that for us?
00:43Oh my gosh. He is literally pulling gunk out of its teeth.
00:46And this gunk, if untreated, would somehow end up in the lion's heart valves?
00:50That's right.
00:50What would happen if she woke up?
00:52She'd bite my finger off.
00:54Oh. And my finger.
00:56That looks really good. Procedure's done.
00:57Let's release her.
00:58Now the lion is happy and healthy.
01:00But we still have 999 animals left to save.
01:03Our next mission is to save some rhinos.
01:06We have to search this massive reservation in order to tranquilize and relocate them.
01:10While we're driving around looking for rhinos, Chandler is actually in the sky.
01:14I'm literally flying around in a helicopter in search of these rhinos that we are trying to rescue.
01:19Typically, the stronger rhinos would just scare away the weaker ones.
01:22But since the reservation is surrounded by anti-poaching fences, the weaker rhinos have nowhere to go, so they end up killing each other.
01:28Yeah, exactly.
01:29Which is why we're going to put them to sleep and then transport them to a plot of land that can be in their own territory.
01:34Where they're not getting bullied out of all the food and water and they can actually grow big and strong.
01:38Jimmy, come in. We found the rhinos.
01:40We found the rhinos. Let's rescue them, baby.
01:42All right, he's got a rhino. Go, go, go.
01:44I got the tranquilizer guy. I'm going to shoot him and put him to sleep so we can relocate them safely.
01:53You did it!
01:54Chandler, hit the rhino. Let's go!
01:56Let's go!
01:57Rhino's down. I'm relocating.
01:58Hey, good shot, Chandler!
02:00First things first, we're putting on the anti-poaching collar. Here's what it does.
02:04This collar tracks the rhino's speed and its proximity to nearby wildlife.
02:08If the rhino suddenly starts running in an open area with no other animals around,
02:13we'll know likely that poachers are trying to kill it.
02:15We're going all out to make sure these rhinos live long lives because there's not many left on the planet.
02:20Yeah, well, look, thanks a lot. That's all we can say.
02:23So this is a microchip, which we're inserting in a tiny hole in his horn.
02:26And then we're sealing it with glue.
02:28So now if a poacher does kill this rhino illegally, we'll be able to trace its horns to the black market and, you know, help catch them.
02:34Let's get into its own space so the other big rhinos here don't kill it.
02:38I know this all seems kind of weird, but this is going to add a lot of years to this rhino's life.
02:45Let's get him in.
02:46It's for your own good. Go inside.
02:48We're now in the safe area for the rhino where he's not going to get bullied and slowly killed.
02:54All right.
02:55I say we name him Hippo.
02:57Hippo?
02:58He's a rhino.
02:59Well, yeah, but his name's Hippo.
03:01I'm calling him Hippo the Rhino.
03:02All right.
03:03All right, Hippo the Rhino, enjoy your life.
03:04We still have hundreds more animals to save.
03:06And after my friends saved the other two smaller rhinos on the safari, we set our sights on something a little taller.
03:14Giraffes.
03:15Have a vaccine!
03:16By shooting them with vaccines.
03:18No!
03:19Unlike when we tranquilize the rhinos, these high-powered air rifles actually deliver a massive dart filled with life-saving medicine.
03:27Enjoy your vaccines!
03:29Have a great day.
03:30Why are they running? We're trying to save their lives.
03:32Throughout this video, we're going to be saving over a thousand animals.
03:36I guess no one told the giraffes because they were making it kind of difficult.
03:40Sir, I'm trying to vaccinate you.
03:42It's good for you, I promise, giraffes.
03:44Come get a vaccine.
03:46Bro, it's so far away.
03:48We need to elevate our tactics.
03:49Because the giraffe's territory is so large, this is the easiest way to get them the medication that they need.
03:56If a giraffe gets one of these diseases, what's its odds of dying?
04:02A hundred percent, it's safe.
04:03Really?
04:04Yeah.
04:04Oh my gosh.
04:05Let's save some giraffes lives!
04:08Yeah!
04:09Hey, let's get that other one!
04:12And we ain't leaving!
04:12Call the giraffes for vaccinated!
04:14Even though I now had air superiority,
04:18Enjoy your medicine!
04:19Take care!
04:20I brought in extra help to save as many animals as possible.
04:29I see five unvaccinated giraffes!
04:33Four unvaccinated giraffes!
04:36Three unvaccinated giraffes!
04:41The last one's the one in the front.
04:46Yeah!
04:47Look at that!
04:47Five in a row!
04:48We're on a kill streak!
04:50Oh no, we're not killing them!
04:51We're saving their lives!
04:52One in the butt!
04:54Yeah!
04:56By the time we left,
04:57we vaccinated a total of 70 giraffes.
05:02Bringing us to 74 animals saved so far.
05:05We even got to see our hard work from earlier pay off.
05:08Yes, but right now we dropped off.
05:09Oh, it is!
05:11We're so happy!
05:12Bro, who would have thought giving giraffes a vaccine would be so fun?
05:17But we still had a lot more animals to save.
05:20So we're traveling from South Africa all the way up to Ukraine,
05:24where years of war have destroyed the zoos,
05:27leaving rescued lions to survive in makeshift shelters.
05:31And because they're still threatened by the ongoing war,
05:34we're going to fly them out of there.
05:36Which is why we have this giant cargo plane just to transport these three lions out of Ukraine.
05:43They stripped this plane.
05:45Literally, there are no seats.
05:46These three lions each get first-class tickets.
05:49And with the help of wildlife conservationist Anthony Penniston,
05:52we're flying them over 7,000 miles to South Africa
05:55to his animal sanctuary Lion Watch,
05:58where these lions will have over 14 acres of open land to roam free.
06:03There's a legit tiger right there.
06:06Actually, Madge, that's a lion.
06:09Oh, okay.
06:11Can I take it?
06:12And after Anthony released the first lion,
06:15it was up to Madge to help release the other two.
06:18What?
06:20I gotta do that, too.
06:22Yeah.
06:23You ready?
06:24I'm ready.
06:25Let's do it.
06:25Let's go.
06:28She's gone.
06:28The lions are now free from the dangers of war
06:34and able to run across their native African lands.
06:38And while saving exotic animals is important,
06:41it wouldn't be a saving animals video if we didn't save 100 dogs.
06:45Many dog shelters are overcrowded.
06:47And if a dog goes too long without finding a home,
06:50they're killed to make room for new dogs.
06:53Every five minutes, one dog in an animal shelter like this is killed.
06:57So we need to get these 100 dogs adopted right now.
07:00How's it going?
07:01Good.
07:02Oh, hey.
07:03Nice to meet you.
07:04Are you excited to get a dog?
07:06What kind of dog are you guys looking for?
07:08We're looking for a small little one.
07:10Oh, a little small one?
07:12I can't even want to come with you.
07:15Do you like it?
07:16Aw.
07:16Say hi, puppy.
07:18What do we think about adopting her?
07:20Yes.
07:20Are you going to play with that dog every day?
07:22Yeah.
07:22And give it tons of love?
07:24Shake on it.
07:25All right.
07:25One down.
07:2699 dogs to go.
07:27And you may not know this,
07:29but taking care of a dog's health actually costs a bunch of money.
07:32And some people, unfortunately, can't afford it.
07:35We love him.
07:36Hi.
07:37Which is why I wanted to share the good news.
07:40And like all the other dogs here,
07:41all the medical bills are covered and he's free.
07:43We're covering all the adoption fees.
07:45Oh, wow.
07:45Yeah, so you guys can take him home for $0.
07:48Oh, my goodness.
07:50No problem.
07:50It was incredible to see so many dogs find their forever homes.
07:55How can you say no to those puppy dog guys?
07:57Wow.
07:57How long have you been looking for a dog?
07:59Two to three months now.
08:00She's perfect.
08:01Aw, she really is, though.
08:02Do you think you're going to take her home?
08:04Yeah.
08:05That's what we like to hear.
08:08Ryan's been adopted.
08:09You guys going to take good care of him?
08:11Yeah.
08:12More and more dogs were getting saved.
08:14But since puppies have a higher rate of adoption,
08:17older dogs are less likely to survive.
08:20Like Blue, this dog that's 10 years old,
08:24still waiting to find his perfect human match.
08:26We're looking for something a little older
08:28just because we're a little low energy.
08:30How about Blue?
08:31What do you think?
08:32I think he's great.
08:34He just looks so gentle.
08:36What a cutie.
08:37He's going to be so happy with you guys.
08:39Thank you so much.
08:40But we weren't done yet.
08:42As the day went on,
08:43we watched dog after dog get adopted into a loving home.
08:47Are we ready to adopt?
08:48Yes, I am.
08:49Go.
08:50And before we knew it,
08:51we saved 100 dogs,
08:53all going to families devoted
08:55to giving them the best life possible.
08:57Next up, we're saving exotic miniature horses
09:00because these tiny horses
09:02were being sold at an auction
09:03to be killed for food.
09:05And I'm sorry,
09:06but I'm not just going to stand by
09:07and let these horses get slaughtered.
09:10So I bought them all.
09:12And we're going to find all of these horses a home.
09:16Oops, excuse me.
09:17The horsies are over here.
09:19Oh, she seems to want this one.
09:22You guys have other horses?
09:23I have a full-sized one at home.
09:25So the horse you're adopting is for her.
09:27Oh, yeah.
09:28Oh, really?
09:28So she can grow up riding a horse.
09:30Oh, did he kiss it?
09:32Wait, how did I get that one?
09:34You want the horses to think it's their decision
09:36that they're getting in the trailer.
09:37Let me try something.
09:39I'll give you guys 10 grand if you get in the trailer.
09:41Oh!
09:44Oh, they did it.
09:45It works.
09:45You guys came here wanting one,
09:47and now you're leaving with two?
09:48I think minis are like potato chips.
09:50You can't have enough?
09:51Technically, I'm not supposed to be bringing
09:53another one home, but the answer was not no.
09:56You want a third one, then?
09:57To load up the whole trailer.
09:59Two weeks ago, they were going to be slaughtered,
10:01and now they're getting loving homes,
10:03and you guys are going to spoil them, right?
10:05Oh, heck yes!
10:05Oh, see, this is awesome.
10:07That's the point of this video.
10:09And after adopting out our last three horses...
10:11What a sweet little horse.
10:13...we also saved four donkeys
10:15who are all getting to stay together.
10:17And now we're off to help one of the biggest birds
10:19on the planet.
10:20Now we're at Maya's Animal Sanctuary,
10:22which I actually think is pretty fascinating
10:24because she helps fund it
10:26through a 24-7 Twitch livestream
10:28where you can donate to give animals treats
10:30and other cool little things.
10:31And the money donated on this livestream
10:33gives animals treats
10:34and helps fund this massive animal sanctuary,
10:37which is filled with tons of exotic animals
10:39that Maya has been rehabilitating
10:41for her entire life.
10:43All right, so Marm's that enclosure.
10:45That's Momo up there.
10:47Momo!
10:47Momo's so cute.
10:48He does really like screens.
10:49If you have a phone,
10:50you want to show them something?
10:51Aww.
10:52Not only do you like her videos,
10:53but apparently so do monkeys.
10:57It's a dominance thing.
10:59This is Winnie the Moo.
11:00To help raise money for this sanctuary,
11:02which is owned by a non-profit,
11:03Winnie the Moo here
11:04is on a 24-7 livestream.
11:05And if you donate money,
11:06like I just did,
11:07her feeder gives her treats
11:09and then she goes and eat them.
11:10This is a really cool, innovative way
11:12that she's been able to fund this sanctuary
11:13and keep expanding it.
11:14This is awesome.
11:15She loves that feeder.
11:16Now the real reason why we're here,
11:18Stompy the Emu.
11:18How's it going?
11:19How you doing, Stompy?
11:20Stompy lives here with our horses
11:22and our cow and our donkey.
11:24Clearly, as you can tell,
11:25Stompy basically believes he's a horse.
11:27Which is bad,
11:27because Stompy could literally get stomped on.
11:30Which is why me and Lowe's
11:31are partnered with Maya
11:32to build an emu sanctuary.
11:34It's, uh,
11:35it's not there yet.
11:36But after this montage,
11:38it will be.
11:38I also want to give a massive shout out
11:44to Lowe's for helping
11:44make this project possible.
11:46Lowe's has been on the ground
11:47helping since the moment floods
11:48caused damage to the area.
11:50And now the sanctuary
11:51will be part of Lowe's commitment
11:52to delivering 10 million square feet
11:54of impact this year.
11:55How do we continue helping Stompy?
11:57We got to get this fence up here.
11:58I have never built a fence before.
12:01All right.
12:01Rolling out the fence.
12:04Maya, how are you cutting it so easily?
12:06Maya, you make me look weak.
12:08Whenever your community is in need,
12:09Lowe's is there to help you.
12:10Even if it's for things
12:11like building a fence for Stompy.
12:12All right, we're going to plant this plant.
12:14Dig a hole right there.
12:15What you want to do
12:16is make an oblong shake.
12:17Question.
12:18What's an oblong?
12:19Like a hot dog.
12:20Perfect.
12:21I got it.
12:22Jagged.
12:23Doesn't have to be perfect.
12:25There you go.
12:26Then gently stick off the roots.
12:28And then we'll put it in here.
12:29And if you want to learn more
12:30about how Lowe's
12:31is helping communities like yours,
12:33just click the link in the description
12:34or go to this website
12:35right here, right now.
12:36Now, we need to see
12:37what Stompy thinks of his new home
12:38and introduce him
12:40to his new girlfriend.
12:41You're free.
12:42What do you think
12:43of your new home, Stompy?
12:46I heard you like trees,
12:47so we opted for an enclosure
12:48with a lot of trees.
12:50Hi.
12:50What do you think of it?
12:52I'll take that as he loves it.
12:54Not only did we build you a home
12:55where a horse won't accidentally kill you,
12:57but we also got you a friend.
12:58We made this bad boy
12:59big enough for two emus.
13:00Can I name it?
13:01Yeah.
13:02Why'd you say it like that?
13:03Yeah, I trust you.
13:04We should name this emu
13:06Nolan's mom.
13:08Yeah.
13:13Really?
13:14Yeah.
13:15All right, let's let her out.
13:16What do you think of my name?
13:17What does that even mean?
13:18It means her name's Nolan's mom.
13:21Hi.
13:21Hi, Nolan's mom.
13:23Hi, she's free.
13:24Yeah.
13:25Yay.
13:25And to wrap things up,
13:27we are at the wolf sanctuary
13:28that Maya wants to build.
13:30Take off your blindfold
13:31and to help bring
13:32the wolf sanctuary to life,
13:33we wanted to give you
13:33a $50,000 donation
13:35to help bring it together.
13:38Earlier this year,
13:39Maya's animal sanctuary
13:40faced extensive damage
13:42due to the Texas floods,
13:43and it really set them back.
13:45But thanks to Lowe's,
13:46Maya now has $50,000
13:47to kickstart this wolf sanctuary.
13:49That is crazy.
13:50Thank you so much.
13:52Up next,
13:53we're saving two sea lions,
13:54starting with Rocky,
13:56who unfortunately
13:57has a bullet in his head.
13:59This video is about saving animals
14:00and I want to let you know
14:00that we want to cover
14:01the expenses of taking care of Rocky.
14:03Thank you so much.
14:04It will take some time
14:05for him to recover from surgery.
14:06However, Gertrude,
14:08our other sea lion,
14:09is ready to be released.
14:11She previously suffered
14:12from being brutally entangled
14:13in a net
14:14and almost died.
14:16Let's go release Gertrude.
14:17Ready?
14:17Ready?
14:17All right.
14:18Three, two, one, go.
14:22Oh, she's wasting no time.
14:25Look at this.
14:26Here's the ocean.
14:28Look at that.
14:28There she goes.
14:29Oh, there she's running.
14:30Oh, man.
14:31Oh, let's go.
14:33Yeah.
14:33Woo.
14:34Yeah.
14:35Look at her shit.
14:36Yeah.
14:37Woo.
14:38With over 800 animals left to save,
14:42it's time to rapid fire.
14:43Over in the Amazon rainforest,
14:45we worked with Mego Lodge and Sanctuary
14:47to release over 200 animals
14:49back into the wild.
14:50What we have here is a silky enteater.
14:52It's one of the rarest species of animals
14:54that we can find here.
14:55Oh, my God.
14:56It's so cute and small.
14:58Go on, little guy.
14:59Bye.
15:00These animals...
15:01He's doing it.
15:02...would have been killed
15:03if we didn't have sanctuaries like Minga
15:05to rehabilitate...
15:07So now we're bringing this tortoise over here
15:09into its natural habitat...
15:11...and set them free.
15:13But we weren't done yet
15:14because back in the U.S.,
15:16we saved hundreds more animals.
15:18Like here at Wildlife Critters Circle of Life,
15:21where we funded 47 injured and abandoned animals,
15:24including this black wolf named Draco.
15:26He was shot in Louisiana,
15:28and when Draco came in,
15:30he couldn't stand.
15:31Now, as you see,
15:31he's running around and super happy.
15:3320 foxes were going to be slaughtered
15:35and turned into fur coats,
15:37but instead, we stepped in
15:38and saved every single one of them.
15:40You get toys and treats
15:42and you need to walk around.
15:44Here at this gigantic bird sanctuary,
15:46we saved 70 native birds,
15:48like this screech owl
15:49that was hit by a car
15:50and is now getting help for his injured eyes.
15:53We're actually unsure
15:54if his full vision's going to come back
15:55in that one eye.
15:56Luckily for owls,
15:57they can survive in the wild
15:59with just one functioning eye.
16:00We also treated 42 injured
16:02or orphaned white-tailed deer.
16:04Come on, deer!
16:05This one is healthy enough
16:06to walk and graze freely again.
16:08At this rescue in Georgia,
16:09we saved 85 animals.
16:11This Mississippi kite
16:12has healed enough to fly again.
16:14And at this turtle rescue in New York,
16:16we saved 48 different turtles.
16:18This one's finally healthy enough
16:20to return to his natural habitat.
16:22This skate park.
16:24Back at Wildlife Critters' Circle of Life,
16:27this kangaroo named Bodhi
16:28lost his mother.
16:29So he needs a few things
16:31that simulate having a mother.
16:32We have special nipples
16:34that resembles the mom
16:35the best we can.
16:36We make pouches
16:38so they feel secure
16:39and they still get the momentum
16:40of the mom moving.
16:42And also over at Waddle-on-In,
16:44where a duck named Marjorie
16:45lost her beak to a snapping turtle.
16:47So we took her into our vet,
16:49Dr. Chester,
16:50had a pressed duck beak put on
16:51because without it,
16:52she could not eat.
16:53We also paid for the 46 other birds
16:56that are getting help here.
16:57All of these specialized medical treatments
16:59and rehabilitation techniques
17:01costs quite a bit of money.
17:04That's why we helped
17:05four other organizations
17:07across the country
17:08pay for the cost of 212 more animals
17:11that needed our help.
17:14Looking back on all of these
17:16incredible animals,
17:17we just want to say thank you
17:18to you, the viewers,
17:20for giving us a platform
17:21to make a difference.

17:25but the work isn't done yet.
