00:00Welcome to the video from Car Magazine Tuning Blog on the topic of Urban Automotive transforming the Mercedes G-Class into a carbon monster.
00:08In the latest expansion stage, the British tuning company Urban Automotive has once again turned its attention to the W64-65 model, which was extensively redesigned last year.
00:21The so-called WIDTRACK kit now the 30th individual conversion program from the company since 2013 is particularly striking this time.
00:30It is aimed at anyone who wants to make a maximum impression with their G-Class, regardless of whether it is an AMG G63, G500 or G54D.
00:40For example, in cities like Beverly Hills, the basic design of the G-Class is largely retained during the conversion.
00:48But more than 40 carbon fiber components, manufactured in Great Britain, ensure a significantly more extroverted look.
00:54The revised bullnose-style hood is also striking, painted in the body color but with exposed carbon air intakes.
01:03Added to this are LED strips on the roof, a striking rear spoiler, and additional carbon accents on the front, sides, and rear.
01:10The front and rear aprons, including the diffuser, are also made entirely of carbon.
01:17Those who want something exclusive beyond the exterior can have the interior completely redesigned.
01:22The Tuna offers new interior trim.
01:25Carbon mirror caps in a 2x2 or 4x4 twill pattern and a Miltec sports exhaust system are available as additional options.
01:32For those who find the conversion too bulky, there is also the so-called Aerosoft kit.
01:39Visually similar, but without the wider body.
01:43Unlike some other tuners, Urban Automotive deliberately avoids making changes to the drivetrain.
01:48Therefore, the engine performance remains unaffected in all models.
01:51The company has not specified a price, but the use of high-quality materials such as carbon and the handcrafted details alone means the conversion could easily cost around €50,000 or more.
02:07Interested parties can either have their own G-Class converted or purchase a complete vehicle from Urban Automotive.
02:12As always, you'll find the link to read the article in our magazine in the video description.
