00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:17Today we're talking about an extraordinary project in which Formula 1 drivers pilot real LEGO vehicles.
00:23Last Sunday, at the Grand Prix in Miami, the LEGO Group and Formula 1 jointly presented 10 fully drivable LEGO F1 vehicles, each representing a team from the current racing series.
00:37These special LEGO Volodon were driven by real Formula 1 stars as part of the driver's parade.
00:43It was a spectacular sight to see the world's best drivers taking their seats in almost-scale model LEGO cars.
00:49The LEGO Group is breaking new ground with this project.
00:55Never before have several fully drivable vehicles been built from LEGO bricks, tested, and then driven at a real event.
01:03What's special about it is that the racing drivers themselves sat behind the wheel of these rolling works of art.
01:09The technical implementation of this project idea was remarkable.
01:13A team of 26 designers, engineers, and LEGO master builders manufactured the vehicles in over 22,000 hours of work at the LEGO Group's production facility in Platinum, Czech Republic.
01:26The models are built to the scale of a Z1, based on real F1 cars.
01:32Each one consists of 400,000 LEGO bricks, weighs around 1,500 kilograms, and reaches speeds of up to 20 kilometers per hour.
01:43They feature authentic Pirelli tires and detailed sponsor logos, and are based on the LEGO F1 Speed Champions series, which was introduced at the end of last year.
01:57After their spectacular appearance in Miami, the Z LEGO Big Builds will go on a worldwide tour to be presented at other races and Formula 1 events.
02:05We'll see you next time.
02:35The goal is to bring families and fans even closer to the experience of future events.
02:46The goal is to bring families and fans even closer to the experience of future events.
03:05The goal is to bring families and fans even closer to the scope of the trips and thată«ëïżœ as many cultures, uh, it's recovery and jogos over 25 during the weeks.
03:08If you don't have to bring families and fans even closer to the fans of the Land peeled family, it's quite an amazing job.
