00:07And he was interviewed by Piers Morgan. I think Piers Morgan's great.

00:13I like his controversy. I like the way he talks.
00:17He's very direct and to the point.
00:18He talks about what people want to hear.
00:21You know, whether it's your opinion or his opinion, it's got to be talked about.
00:24Yeah.
00:25And I believe that he doesn't pull his punches, right?
00:28And I admire the man.
00:30He's a great interviewer.
00:32He's interviewed some incredible people over the years.
00:34And I watched him interviewing life stories with Ronaldo.
00:39And he showed footage of Ronaldo's daddy that Ronaldo had never seen before.
00:45He got to the archives and Ronaldo saw his daddy talking about him.
00:51My boy's going to be the greatest and I believe in my boy.
00:54And he hadn't seen this before.
00:55And anyway, Ronaldo tells a story about him and some of the other young football players
01:00that were hungry, starving really.
01:03And they were going to this burger joint, hamburger place.
01:09And the lady that worked in it used to bring out the waste and used to feed the young boys
01:15and young girls with the waste.
01:17Rather than being the waste, you know, she would feed the so-called deprived children.
01:23Ronaldo was one of them deprived children.
01:26When he became the superstar that he became and made the money and the wealth that he got,
01:32he went looking for that lady.
01:33Yeah.
01:34And he found her and he housed her and he gave her wealth.
01:37Now, that's not just what the man done.
01:41During the COVID, during the COVID, he paid for hotels to be hospital rooms for people that were suffering.
01:51He gave so much to the needy, you know, and I admire him so much, you know.
01:56I really do believe that he's a good person, you know.
02:00I've met him when he was playing for Man United.
02:02I met him down in Carrington at the training ground.
02:05And we had a nice conversation.
02:08You know, he's a very strikingly handsome man.
02:11I'm not gay in any way, shape or form.
02:13My opinion as well.
02:14But my wife, my wife Ruth, was with me at the time.
02:17And she went, oh my God, he's beautiful.
02:21And he is beautiful.
02:22But not just skin beauty.
02:26In hair as well.
02:27You know, he's a very beautiful human being.
02:30And that was a very, very wonderful day that day.
02:33We were with Wayne Rooney and we were with Ryan Giggs.
02:36And we were with some of the legends of Man United.
02:38Sir Alex Ferguson was there.
02:40And I'd worked for two charity events for Ryan Giggs.
02:46His mother's a nurse, senior nurse in the Manchester Children's Hospital.
02:51And I did two events for the Five Star Scanner Appeal.
02:54And Ryan was a patron.
02:56And we became friends.
02:57And he invited us to Carrington to watch Man United train.
03:02And it was two incredible days.
03:06You know, I brought some friends with me.
03:07And like I said, I got to meet Ronaldo.
03:10And he is another hero of mine.
03:13Yeah.
03:13Not because of his achievements in football.
03:15I don't follow football.
03:16No, it's the human being.
03:18I follow a person.
03:19Yeah.
03:20You know, if I like that person.
03:22And he's one of the people I like and I admire and respect.

03:26And he could, like I say, he could, and he has set an example for others to follow.
