00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:04Today we're talking about the impressive new Superjag Serena by Hens,
00:08which will be the first model to be delivered in 2025.
00:12The 55-meters-long yacht with a steel hull, construction number UN-255,
00:18is a prime example of the successful cooperation between Hisa Nyagachids and Archon Jags Monaco.
00:24The collaboration resulted in a project that combines high-precision technology with a custom design.
00:32Since construction began in spring 2022,
00:36the experienced owners have been closely involved in the planning and development,
00:40working intensively with the engineers at Hessen and the Lukaini design office.
00:46The goal was to create a yacht characterized by homely comfort and an inviting atmosphere,
00:51even during longer stays on board.
00:54Particular emphasis was placed on comfortable seating arrangements
01:00and the selection of luxurious yet practical materials.
01:05Technically, Serena impresses with a fast steel displacement hull,
01:09which, thanks to two MTU engines,
01:11gives her a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 13 knots.
01:17The top speed is almost 16 knots, which corresponds to around 30 kilometers per hour.
01:24The exterior of the Jagd was designed by Omega Architects and perfectly complements the interior concept by Lucadini.
01:32With five cabins, the yacht offers space for up to 12 guests.
01:36The interior includes a main salon divided into three areas with a fully equipped bar,
01:42ensuring smooth transitions between indoor and outdoor areas.
01:46The sky lounge forms the social heart of the ship, equipped with a custom-made games table and comfortable seating.
01:55A special highlight is the beach club, which receives plenty of natural light through large windows
02:01and serves as a relaxation area with a sauna and elegant wooden surfaces.
02:07Another highlight is the 110 square meters sundeck with flexible furniture and a trestle area for enjoying the view.
02:14The owner's suite on the main deck impresses with a private vanda, lounge, office, and a cabin spanning the entire beam of the ship.
02:25Four further guest cabins are located on the lower deck, each with its own bathroom, enhanced by marble details.
02:32A fitness room on the bridge deck can be converted into an additional cabin if required.
02:38Shipyard Captain Bob Van Sundert praised the yacht's maneuverability.
02:41Despite her impressive size of 55 meters in length and a volume of 760 gross tons,
02:49Serena is particularly responsive and easy to handle,
02:53with the stability of a steel ship and the maneuverability of her aluminum pendowns.
02:58According to Van Sundert, Hessen's 55-meter series offers a high degree of confidence and safety for captains on the high seas.
03:06With Serena, Hessen is embarking on a promising 2025 and at the same time setting a clear example of quality and individuality in superyacht construction.
