00:10:39Were you surprised that that happened?
00:10:41It surprised me more than I was expecting, how I kind of got in my head.
00:10:45Sitting here, talking about your confidence, it's not traditionally British, is it?

00:10:50I have been told, actually, my confidence is much more American.

00:10:56I've always been, like, of the opinion.

00:11:02So I really think that I've learned that over this experience.

00:11:07Me and my mum, we went through a lot.
00:11:09And a lot of things that happened kind of made me start to not like myself.
00:11:13And she would always tell me to tell myself I love myself and I'm talented.

00:14:20The challenges like you guys threw at us, being able to be silly, to be weird, to explore my drag in a different way.

00:14:29Relisa represents a period in my life where I was like, okay, these are all things that have scared you.
00:14:33You've been bullied about, like, you're too effeminate, you're too this.
00:14:36I know growing up in the islands, not very easy for especially effeminate young boys.
00:14:40Like, my mom's teacher was witness, and so I grew up in the faith.
00:14:44Like, on one hand, I am grateful for it because it gave me, like, some sort of moral staring.
00:14:48But also there was a confliction with me when I probably was hidden at the age of 11 where I was like, okay, I kind of know who I am.
00:14:53And sort of, like, feeling like who I am is a sin.
00:14:56And I remember going to bed at night praying to wake up not gay.
00:15:01And I feel I'm still peeling those layers.
00:15:05Like, even having my sister here, that was like, that was a, hmm.
