Taiwan’s new M1A2T tanks enter service, but with cheap drones now capable of taking out costly armor, how can Taiwan make sure it’s getting the most out of its latest weapons?

00:00Here in Shenzhou, the country's first battalion of the Abrams tanks is officially entering service.

00:15These U.S.-made tanks are some of the most powerful in the world,

00:18and they are expected to give the Army a major boost in firepower and mobility.

00:47To have more anti-mechanic tanks, for example, anti-mechanic tanks,

00:51along with the front vehicle army of the Opus crew.

00:53Maybe these anti-mechanic tanks will be more stable than any of the enemy aircraft.

00:57Taiwan is expected to receive the final badge

00:59the final batch of the M1A2T tanks in early 2026, bringing the total number to over 100.

01:06For now, the military says all of them will be deployed in northern Taiwan.
