00:00Welcome to the Tuning Blog video about the HiFi X.
00:08The HiX is a new electric SUV from China, developed by the manufacturer Human Horizons.
00:15This eye-catching vehicle has also been available in Germany since August and offers an exciting alternative to models such as the Tesla Model X and the Volvo X90.
00:24With a starting price of €109,000, the HiFi X is anything but a bargain.
00:31Nevertheless, the manufacturer is initially planning modestly.
00:35Around 600 vehicles are to be sold in Europe this year via hoops in Munich and Oslo.
00:41The brand wants to establish itself slowly and double its sales figures next year.
00:46In order to stand out from the crowd of today's electric SUVs, the HiFi X relies on a bold design.
00:52An elegant LED light bar is emblazoned at the front, flanked by huge pixel LED panels in the lower bumper.
01:00Some say it looks like a squirrel stuffing food into its cheeks.
01:05The side view impresses with sharp angles and bold contours.
01:10The rear doors are particularly unusual.
01:13While the front doors open in a classic style, the rear doors are split into two halves.
01:20The lower half opens in the opposite direction to the direction of travel and is hinged at the back, while the upper part opens upwards as a gull-wing door.
01:28This has never been seen before.
01:31The rear design is also anything but ordinary.
01:34A light bar running across the entire width is reminiscent of the Lexus NX and combines elements of the three-pronged taillight design of the MG4.
01:43No matter which angle you look at it from, the HFi X definitely attracts everyone's attention.
01:50Inside, the HFi X offers space for six people or luxurious comfort as a four-seater, depending on the seating arrangement.
01:57If you opt for the four-seater version, you can expect two fold-down seats in the rear, a refrigerator and two 8.0-inch screens.
02:07Up front, there is a digital driver display and a large infotainment system in portrait format.
02:13The front passenger is not neglected either and gets their own 9.9-inch display for the best entertainment while driving.
02:20The HFi X is powered by two electric motors, each with 295 horsepower, resulting in a system output of a whopping 589 horsepower.
02:32The maximum torque is an impressive 820 Nm.
02:36This allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 3.8 seconds, just as fast as the dual-motor version of the Tesla Model X.
02:47The top speed is electronically limited to 200 km per hour.
02:51The energy supply is provided by a battery with a capacity of 97 kWh.
02:57According to the manufacturer, this enables a range of 460 km.
03:02The charging power is an average of 100 kW, which is sufficient for most everyday driving sessions.
03:09In terms of chassis technology such as adaptive dampers and rear axle steering, the HFi X cannot quite keep up with its European competitors.
03:19However, it scores points in terms of assistance systems.
03:23All the latest systems are on board and the car can even park and exit independently.
03:28TUV has taken care of the homologation of the HFi X, so that the model complies with all EU approval regulations.
03:37Nothing stands in the way of a successful market state in Germany.
03:41The HFi X impressively demonstrates that Chinese manufacturers are no longer just focusing on low prices, but also want to compete on a par with established brands in terms of design and technology.
03:55It will be exciting to see how this unusual vehicle will assert itself on the European market and what impetus it will provide for the future of electromobility.
