00:00On Media Miss Minute today, Ontario's Premier is standing behind a controversial ad
00:04opposing U.S. tariffs, one that features former President Ronald Reagan.
00:09And a Minnesota man is facing charges, accused of putting a hit out on Attorney General Pam Bondi.

00:20Here on Media Miss Minute, we spotlight stories getting little to no attention from partisan outlets.
00:25Starting today with the story being missed by the right.
00:27Ontario Premier Doug Ford defending an ad that he commissioned using Ronald Reagan's 1987 speech on tariffs.
00:36Ford calls it worth it, even after the spot prompted President Donald Trump to cancel trade talks
00:41and raise tariffs on Canadian goods by another 10 percent.
00:45The ad, which Trump blasted as fraudulent and a distortion of Reagan's message,
00:50aired during major American broadcasts, including Game 1 of the World Series.
00:55We achieved our goal. They're talking about it in the U.S.
00:58And they weren't talking about it before I put the ad on.
01:01We had over a billion impressions around the world.
01:03Now to a story being missed by the left.
01:06Investigators arrested a Minnesota man with alleged anarchist ties,
01:10accusing him of using TikTok to post a bounty on Attorney General Pam Bondi.
01:15The post reportedly called for someone to capture or preferably kill her for $45,000.
01:21The FBI says the suspect, Tyler Maxson Avalos, has a criminal record that includes stalking, battery, and assault.
