National badminton mixed doubles coach Nova Widianto said reigning world champions Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei will likely skip the back-to-back Kumamoto Masters and Australian Open from Nov 11-23 to prevent the shoulder injury plaguing Tang Jie from flaring up.  Widianto said whether the world No. 4 pair could compete in the two tournaments will depend on the results of further checks and evaluation of Tang Jie's injury by the doctors.
