Jammu Kashmir's First Tech-Driven DREAM Model School Inaugurated In Srinagar

00:07I'm from I'm born in Calicut and when I went to a government school by accident I realized you

00:13know how dilapidated situation the government schools are not just infrastructure because

00:19infrastructure is so important because infrastructure baut karab hai motivation nahi hai teachers

00:25ko motivation nahi hai students ko motivation nahi hai that is why I started the project with IIM in

00:31Calicut Indian Institute of Management a gap analysis kia pahle you know or gap me teachers

00:38ka qualification baut bariya hai aur unka salary bhi baut bariya hai lekin kithar hai problem problem

00:44hai ta infrastructure teak nahi hai you know environment teak nahi hai you know what the

00:50foundation you know unka ooper kuch kiya toh result ho jayega lekin oh nahi toh kaiso

00:56oriented nahi hai you know so most of the people are spending money and time on bringing technology

01:03without the basic foundation you know so that is where I realized the problem and we did the project

01:09in 90 days and today that Nadakava school is India's number two government school you know out of 1.2

01:16million government school india mein 1.2 million government school hai hai bada laak government

01:22schools mager is that usnaviyat ka nahi aata hai nataj usnaviyat ka nahi aata hai product usnaviyat ka nahi

01:26nahi nikal hai hai ek model am show kia you know what time mein am solar crore spend kia foundation

01:33se government ka saath government ka involvement tha baot tha aur now abhi kerala mein 977 school

01:40replicate kiya hai you know it's a private partnership you know kerala mein abhi amara ten

01:47schools am prismka project mein am partner hai government ke saath lekin after the success of

01:54the model government only initiated other schools in kerala you know the same thing we want to do it

02:00in every state in india you know so that is how jammu and kashmir interested me it's kerala and jammu

02:07and kashmir is the most beautiful place in the world you know god's own country heaven on earth

02:12correct so i thought you know if you replicate the same model jammu and kashmir will change you know

02:18in maybe in 10 years time correct and that is where the phase one is inaugurated today and i'm going and

02:24meeting chief minister in the afternoon also to showcase the model you know for him to understand

02:30if we focus on more schools in jammu and kashmir with the help of the foundation we can speed up

02:36the process

02:37so ek sal 12 months am teachers training sab shuru ho gaya hai last one year now with this model and

02:49the result through the students coming all the government schools will get inspired you know

02:54amko inspiration chahiye so then automatically spread karra hai ga you know it become a movement you know

03:00this is a requirement of the people ho jae ga you know that is how we have done it in in kerala and

03:05the same model we are replicating this you know as a playbook and with the government inshallah we

03:11will do together abhi phase one mein chek crore six crore spend ki hai baaki phase two phase three

03:17vip shuru ho jae ga lekin one year ke baad kiyo result hona chahi haako on ka kiyo see not spending money on

03:25infrastructure without the result not good correct so we will see the result now then phase two phase

03:31three will start one year after in the meantime we are also talking to the government i think

03:36government is also have a plan to do 40 schools as a model project so we are discussing uh after this

03:42interview i'll be going to meet umar abdullah and we'll discuss further so when jammu also we

03:48wanted to try a model you know so i'll go there see there's a process of foundation will do

03:53now daniel khan is our manager here and he will go study you know which is a school which we can

03:59take it up so we have a process you know we are a not you know just jump in and take some school

04:05you know we wanted to really go through the process and we will go step by step kashmir

04:10first of all the people in kashmir is wonderful i've been coming in a fifth time uh this trip

04:15and and the wonderful human beings wonderful people you know hospitality is amazing and i was

04:21just thinking you know once we transform the schools in kashmir kashmir will become one of the finest

04:27state in our country you know so and that's my inspiration because kerala kashmir panjab

04:33you know all over india and i think india is such a gem which is untapped correct you know the whole

04:40world needs india and and tourism you know there's so much of potential in tourism first time i went

04:46to gulmargi yesterday i didn't want to come back you know it's janethe you know so i think now somebody

04:52says pilgrim is better you know so this place has got everything you know and alhamdulillah with the

04:57help of transformation of education you know this place will blossom today we wanted to showcase that

05:02you know how two cultures can come together in a platform uh on a stage you know so imagine if we

05:08can do this with different states india will be the most amazing country in the world
