00:00The Koreans ask for any visa guarantees after that immigration raid.
00:05No, but you know how I feel. I was very much opposed.
00:09Look, when they come in and they're making very complex machinery, equipment, things,
00:14they're going to have to bring some people in at least at the initial phase.
00:18In that case, it was batteries.
00:20Batteries are very complex and they're actually very dangerous to make.
00:24You can't just pick people off an unemployment line and say,
00:26we just opened up a $2 billion battery factory.
00:31So we've got an understanding.
00:35When they come into our country, we have a lot of factories being built by outside, by foreign interests.
00:41When they come in, some of these factories make very, very complex, very highly sophisticated equipment.
00:49They've got to bring people in with them for a period of time.
00:52They'll teach our people how to do it.
00:54But even for a fairly long period of time, they're going to need expertise to be successful.
00:59And we're going to let people know.
01:00I'm letting them know right now that when they come into our country,
01:04we can expect to see them bring in with them some very talented people that have been doing it for many years.
01:11They'll teach our people how to do it.
01:12Our people will be just as good as they are within a period of time.
01:15And it'll be a phase-out.
01:18But we want them to bring in experts.
01:20And that's the way it is.
