Yoshinobu Yamamoto a été l'homme fort de la victoire des Dodgers sur le terrain des Blue Jays samedi soir, lors du deuxième match des World Series (1-1 dans la série). Comme dans le match 2 contre les Brewers de Milwaukee lors de la série précédente, le lanceur japonais a disputé l’intégralité des neuf manches et a limité l’attaque torontoise. Son entraîneur, Dave Roberts, n’a pas tari d’éloges envers son joueur après la rencontre.
