01:14Comma.
01:16Alright, let's get this sorted.
01:17So here's the classic dilemma many pioneers are facing.
01:21You've been mining diligently.
01:22Firstly, you passed your KYC and you were excited for your first migration, but somewhere along the way, you lost that crucial 24-word passphrase for your wallet.
01:33It happens to the best of us.
01:35In a panic, you created a new wallet hoping to solve the problem.
01:38But now, your Pi from the first migration is stuck in that old, inaccessible wallet, and your new wallet is just sitting there, empty and seemingly useless.
01:50It feels like you're locked out of your own earnings, right?
01:53You see your balance on the mainnet, but you can't touch it.
01:56It's a frustrating situation, but I'm here to tell you there's a clear path forward.
02:02Let S break down what S actually happening behind the scenes and why your Pi is safer than you think.
02:08First, let's get one thing straight.
02:11Your mainnet Pi balance is completely safe.
02:14The Pi Core team is holding it securely for you.
02:17It's not lost.
02:18It's just waiting for instructions on where to go next.
02:21Think of it like a package at the post office that could not be delivered because the address was wrong.
02:26The package is still there, waiting for you to provide the correct address.
02:30Your old wallet, the one you can't access anymore, still exists on the blockchain.
02:35It's a permanent record, but without the passphrase, it's like a vault with a lost key.
02:40Impenetrable.
02:42Your new wallet is perfectly fine.
02:44It's just not yet connected to the migration system.
02:47The system still thinks it's supposed to send Pi to your old address.
02:50Our job today is to update that delivery address.
02:53So what's the key fix?
02:54The solution lies in a feature designed by the Pi Core team specifically for this situation.
03:01You need to reconfirm your wallet in the mainnet checklist.
03:05This action tells the system, hey, forget that old address.
03:08From now on, send all my future Pi migrations to this new wallet.
03:12It's a simple but powerful step that reroutes your future earnings.
03:16I'm going to guide you through this process step by step to make sure you get it right.
03:21We'll break it down into three simple phases.
03:24Securing your new wallet, reconfirming it in the app, and finally, waiting for the magic to happen.
03:31Let's start with phase one.
03:33Phase one is all about securing your new wallet.
03:35This is non-negotiable.
03:37You can't afford to lose your passphrase a second time.
03:40First, open your Pi browser and navigate to Wallet.
03:44Pi.
03:44If you haven't created a new wallet yet, do so now.
03:47If you have, unlock it using your new 24-word passphrase to make sure you have it correct.
03:53Now listen carefully.
03:55This is the most important part.
03:57Write down that 24-word passphrase on a piece of paper.
04:01Not in your phone's notes app.
04:02Not in an email to yourself.
04:04Not as a screenshot.
04:05Paper only.
04:07Hackers can't access a piece of paper in your desk drawer.
04:10Make two or three copies.
04:12Store them in different, safe, physical locations.
04:14Think of a fireproof safe, a bank deposit box, or giving a sealed copy to a trusted family member.
04:21Treat this passphrase like it's worth a million dollars.
04:24Because one day, it might be.
04:26Never store it digitally.
04:29Ever.
04:30Once you are 100% confident your new passphrase is secure, we can move on to phase two.
04:37Reconfirming your migration wallet.
04:38For this phase, close the Pi browser and open your main Pi Network app.
04:44On the home screen, tap the three horizontal lines in the top left corner to open the menu.
04:50From there, select Mainnet.
04:52This will take you to your Mainnet dashboard.
04:54Now, tap on Mainnet Checklist.
04:57Scroll down the checklist until you find step three, which says, Confirm your Pi Wallet.
05:02Now, here's the part that confuses people.
05:04Even if this step has a green checkmark next to it, you need to tap on it again.
05:10Tapping it will allow you to reconfirm and update the wallet address.
05:14The app will now ask you to paste your wallet passphrase to confirm.
05:17This is where you need to be extremely careful.
05:20You must enter the passphrase for your new wallet, the one you just secured.
05:24Do not enter the old lost passphrase.
05:27The whole point is to link your new wallet.
05:29So, carefully type or paste your new 24-word passphrase into the field.
05:34Double-check it for any typos, then click the Confirm your Wallet button.
05:39The system will take a moment to validate the passphrase and link it to your account.
05:43Once it's confirmed, you'll see a success message.
05:47Congratulations!
05:48You've just officially told the Pi Network where to send your future Pi.
05:53Now we move on to the easiest part.
05:55Phase 3, which is simply waiting for the next migration.
05:58After successfully reconfirming, if you go back to the mainnet checklist, you should
06:03now see the public address of your new wallet listed under Step 3 and Step 7.
06:08This is your visual confirmation that the system has been updated.
06:11From this point on, all your future Pi migrations, that is, the rest of your transferable balance
06:17that hasn't been moved yet, will be sent automatically to this new, secure wallet.
06:23You don't need to do anything else besides continuing your daily mining sessions.
06:27The Pi Core team runs migration scripts in batches, so it might take some time before you
06:32see the next transfer.
06:33Just be patient.
06:34Soon enough, your new wallet will receive its first deposit and it will become your active
06:40mainnet wallet.
06:41What about the Pi stuck in your old wallet?
06:44For now, that Pi is considered lost because the passphrase is gone.
06:48The Core team has stated that they are exploring potential solutions for this in the future,
06:52but as of right now, there is no way to recover it.
06:56That's why securing your future migrations is so critical.
07:00You're cutting your losses and ensuring the rest of your hard-earned Pi is safe.
07:04Before we wrap up, I want to give you one final crucial security reminder.
07:10Your 24-word passphrase is the one and only key to your cryptocurrency.
07:15If you lose it again, no one, not your friends, not me, and not even the Pi Core team, can help
07:20you recover your funds.
07:22That is the nature of decentralized blockchain technology.
07:26It gives you full control, which also means full responsibility.
07:29So, I'll say it again.
07:31Never share your 24 words with anyone.
07:34Ever.
07:35Scammers will pretend to be support staff and ask for it.
07:38Don't fall for it.
07:40Never store it in your email, in cloud storage like Google Drive or Dropbox, or as a screenshot
07:45on your phone.
07:46Always keep it offline and in a secure physical location.
07:50This is the golden rule of crypto.
07:52So, let's quickly recap.
07:54By going into your mainnet checklist and reconfirming your wallet with your new passphrase, you have
07:59successfully updated your migration address.
08:02You have secured the future of your Pi.
08:04Your remaining transferable balance is now safe and will be sent to your new wallet in
08:09the upcoming migration waves.
08:11The Pi stuck in the old wallet is a lesson learned, but the majority of your future earnings
08:15are now protected.
