00:00It was all my fault, David. I'm so sorry.
00:04Welcome to Ms. Mojo.
00:06And today, we'll be counting down our picks for the top 30 on-screen couples from film and TV
00:12who, despite their performances, hated each other in real life.
00:16I don't like this one bit.
00:18Well, I can't stop now.
00:21Number 30. Humphrey Bogart and Audrey Hepburn.
00:24Sabrina.
00:25Let's drink to that.
00:26The filming of Sabrina was rife with personal drama and stirring romanticism.
00:31Audrey Hepburn and William Holden had a short but well-known affair during filming,
00:35although Audrey quickly called it off after learning that William had had a vasectomy
00:39and could not have children.
00:41Meanwhile, Humphrey Bogart wanted his wife Lauren Bacall to play the titular Sabrina
00:45and was therefore quite hostile towards Hepburn, as she'd stolen his wife's spotlight.
00:50Can I find myself someone really nice?
00:54That's not so easy, Sabrina.
00:56He also complained about what he believed to be her general inexperience
00:59and criticized her acting ability, saying she often had to do too many takes.
01:04The joke's on him.
01:05Audrey ended up being nominated for an Oscar, while he was left cranky and perturbed.
01:10Number 29. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, Fifty Shades of Grey.
01:26Why do you need to?
01:27Because it's the way I am!
01:28Let's get this out of the way first.
01:30Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson do not hate each other, and they get along well enough now.
01:35But there was a time when things seemed a little awkward between the two of them.
01:40Doesn't need an explanation right now.
01:42It's really inappropriate.
01:43I'm sorry.
01:45I have to look something up.
01:45But it's a worthy job.
01:48Fans continuously pointed out their palpable lack of chemistry on press tours,
01:52and many websites singled out their uncomfortable presence at the 2017 Oscars.
01:56Director James Foley also claims that they didn't fully bond until the first movie's press tour.
02:03So things were clearly a little off while filming Fifty Shades of Grey.
02:07We can't say that we blame them for the reported awkwardness, though.
02:10Filming that kind of movie must be very difficult.
02:13Number 28. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, That 70s Show.
02:18I am in love with a doofus.
02:23Despite their 2015 marriage, a longtime friend of Kutcher told Radar Online that, quote,
02:30everyone shakes their head over the romance.
02:33You still love me when I'm bald.
02:37You could wear a wig.
02:40According to the source, the two were, quote,
02:42We don't know how credible this source is,
02:51but their words are backed up by Mila Kunis herself.
02:55Michael, now I know I can honestly trust you with all my heart.
02:58She told Glamour once that she thought Ashton was crazy,
03:02and that she started to hate him once he became famous.
03:06Apparently, he thought he was all that.
03:08She also said that they had, quote,
03:10full friendship breakups on numerous occasions,
03:13signifying that their time together may not have been all sunshine and rainbows.
03:18Just say you miss me.
03:19Fine, I miss you.
03:22Michael, I miss you too.
03:24Whatever the case, Kutcher now considers himself the luckiest man alive
03:28in regards to their relationship,
03:30so things are unquestionably going great.
03:33Number 27. Harrison Ford and Sean Young.
03:36Blade Runner.
03:38Must be expensive.
03:41Very.
03:43I'm Rachel.
03:45Deckard.
03:46Rachel was one of Sean Young's first movie roles,
03:48and what an introduction it was.
03:51Not only was she in one of the best science fiction films ever,
03:54although it wasn't considered that at the time,
03:56she got to work with none other than the brilliant and charismatic Harrison Ford.
04:01Only, she didn't really like him.
04:03You think I'm a replicant, don't you?
04:05Rumors have long persisted that the two did not get along while filming Blade Runner.
04:09In the scene where Deckard stops Rachel from leaving his apartment,
04:13Ford reportedly pushed Young quite roughly, causing her to get upset and irritated with him.
04:18Their love scene was also allegedly dubbed the hate scene by the production crew,
04:22because the two despised filming such a passionate sequence with each other.
04:26I want you.
04:27I want you.
04:30Number 26. Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale.
04:34Vacancy.
04:35At least you're dreaming about me, right?
04:37That's kind of an improvement.
04:38Back in 2007, Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale starred in a thriller called Vacancy.
04:43It followed a combative couple who are teetering on the edge of divorce
04:46as they're stalked and harassed at a creepy motel.
04:49Kate and Luke didn't need to do too much acting to portray an antagonistic couple,
04:54because on-set sources claimed that they did not get along.
04:57I guess it could be worse, you know.
04:59We could be stuck in that twin bed at your folks' house trying to pretend like we're a happy couple.
05:04The sources allege that Luke frequently did not show up to work on time and or was hung over.
05:10In fact, he was supposedly outwardly rude and awful to Kate.
05:14Things apparently got so bad between them that Kate refused to act with him,
05:18instead sending out a picture with a note that said,
05:20Read your lines to this.
05:22It will be better for both of us.
05:23Why didn't you just stay on the interstate?
05:27I don't know.
05:32Number 25.
05:33Julie McCullough and Kirk Cameron.
05:36Growing Pains.
05:37Dearly beloved.
05:38I do.
05:42While young Kirk Cameron was raised an atheist,
05:46he converted to Christianity when he was 17.
05:49This caused frustration on the set of Growing Pains,
05:51as he caused trouble with his co-stars
05:54and insisted that the writers remove any semblance of inappropriate content.
05:59Gee, what was that for?
06:00I just want you to know that I cannot imagine spending another day of my life without you.
06:05However, it was Julie McCullough who faced the brunt of his criticism.
06:09Julie had previously posed for Playboy,
06:11and Kirk objected to this.
06:14You are so sweet.
06:16And so dependable.
06:19And so sexy.
06:21The story goes that Kirk accused the producers of promoting adult entertainment
06:25and ordered Julie to be fired.
06:28And although Kirk claims that he never called for her termination,
06:32he and Julie remain distant and are not on speaking terms.
06:35Mike, I'm sorry.
06:38I wished I could be more like you and...
06:42But I'm not.
06:45So take care of yourself.
06:48Whatever happened, it seems their growing pains were too much to bear.
06:52Number 24.
06:53Richard Boehmer and Natalie Wood.
06:56West Side Story.
06:57Maria!
06:58Shh!
07:00Maria!
07:01Quiet!
07:01West Side Story is a beautiful love tale.
07:04A kind of Romeo and Juliet for a new generation.
07:07Except that it turns out that the actress who plays the Juliet-like role,
07:11Natalie Wood,
07:12really didn't like the actor who played the Romeo-like role,
07:15Richard Boehmer.
07:16Rumor has it that Natalie kept a shit list on her dressing room wall
07:19with the names of people she despised.
07:22And guess who was on the very top of that list?
07:24If you guessed Richard Boehmer,
07:26then you get 10 points.
07:28Maria!
07:28I've just met a girl named Maria.
07:34Russ Tamblyn even asked Natalie why Richard was on the list.
07:37And she simply said,
07:39I just don't like him.
07:40Word has it that Richard didn't even know about this list
07:43until Russ told him about it
07:44while they were filming Twin Peaks almost 30 years later.
07:48It's alright, she likes us.
07:49Number 23.
07:51Jay Moore and Jennifer Aniston.
07:53Picture Perfect.
07:54I'm sorry, I didn't know we were on the clock yet.
07:56Okay, just just grab my eyes,
07:57kiss my neck and pull me into the office, okay?
07:59Jay Moore is not shy about airing his dirty laundry.
08:02During an interview with Elle magazine,
08:04Jay called working with Jennifer
08:05his most awkward interaction with a female celebrity.
08:08While he didn't 100% confirm it was her,
08:11all signs point to Aniston being the female celeb in question.
08:15I suddenly realized I haven't told you how beautiful you look today.
08:17She apparently made it abundantly clear that she was not happy with his casting,
08:22as many more notable and famous actors had been screen tested for the role.
08:26Her behavior was allegedly so antagonistic that Jay would go to his mother's house and cry.
08:31In another interview with ESPN,
08:33he said that a bag of Doritos would last longer than a movie starring a friend's cast member.
08:37It's fine, do you think it's gone?
08:40Um, fine?
08:42I guess.
08:43Number 22.
08:45Joan Collins and John Forsythe.
08:47Dynasty.
08:48Joan and John played divorced couple Alexis and Blake Carrington on the popular soap opera Dynasty.
08:54I know that this used to be your house, but it isn't now.
09:00I'd appreciate you having yourself announced next time you barge in here.
09:03While the two were split,
09:05their personal drama helped Dynasty become one of the biggest soap operas of the 80s.
09:10And it looks like Alexis and Blake's toxic relationship was just as hostile as Joan and John's.
09:16Joan has admitted that John didn't like her very much,
09:19and has called him, quote,
09:20misogynistic and a bit sexist.
09:23I didn't start that fire, Blake.
09:25You did start a barrage of character assassination, nearly ended in murder.
09:30Well, this time, it might end in murder.
09:33She also states that John lambasted her for demanding equal pay,
09:37and she was allegedly called a, quote, diva and a bitch.
09:41I am going to kill you.
09:44However, there seems to be no hard feelings,
09:46as Joan honored John upon his death,
09:49calling him, quote, one of the last true gentlemen of the acting profession.
09:54Take your hands off me.
09:55I want to talk to you right now.
09:58I told you I was busy, now will you take your hands off me?
10:00Number 21.
10:02Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger.
10:04Nine and a Half Weeks.
10:06It's beautiful.
10:07I love it.
10:09Nine and a Half Weeks is a controversial movie,
10:11as it involves touchy themes like sexual domination and sadomasochism.
10:16The filming was allegedly just as controversial,
10:19as Basinger was reportedly treated like absolute garbage on set.
10:23According to a piece in the New York Times,
10:25director Adrienne Line would often manipulate Basinger's emotions and push her too far,
10:30so the crew began to grow concerned.
10:33Because, you see, I can't get excited.
10:36I can't get excited unless I see you get on your hands and your knees and crawl across the floor.
10:43The article also reveals that Mickey Rourke remained distant from Basinger,
10:48and even helped Line abuse her.
10:50This included grabbing her arm,
10:52refusing to let go despite Kim's cries and shouts,
10:55and even slapping her in the face when she fought back.
10:58The sadistic treatment eventually had a negative impact on Kim's marriage,
11:02as she remained emotionally distant from her husband for an entire year.
11:06I almost waited too long.
11:08Number 20.
11:09Walter Maffow and Barbara Streisand.
11:12Hello, Dolly.
11:13If you're thinking of getting married,
11:14you might as well learn right now that you have to let women be women.
11:17Hello, Dolly had a very troublesome production,
11:20and one of its main issues was the truly bitter relationship
11:22between stars Barbara Streisand and Walter Maffow.
11:26Walter quickly grew irritated at the much younger Barbara's insistence
11:29at shooting multiple takes,
11:31and it wasn't long before he couldn't even stand in the same room as the budding star.
11:35He also referred to Barbara as an incompetent actress
11:38and a freak attraction like a boa constrictor.
11:41Dolly Levi, you are a damned exasperating woman!
11:45Why, Horace Vandergelder, that is the nicest thing you have ever said.
11:49Walter even refused to kiss her,
11:51forcing the production crew to work some movie magic for their on-screen kiss.
11:55Barbara hated Walter in turn,
11:57referring to him as Old Sewer Mouth.
12:00Maybe that's why they refused to kiss.
12:02All I wanted to say was,
12:04Goodbye!
12:06Number 19.
12:07Heidi Swedberg and Jason Alexander.
12:10Seinfeld.
12:11Susan's untimely death from licking toxic glue
12:14is one of the most iconic moments of Seinfeld.
12:17It showcases the gang's heartless and selfish mentality
12:20in the most upfront and brutal way possible,
12:23rivaling that of Game of Thrones.
12:26She's, uh,
12:29gone.
12:30Dead?
12:33But her death was swift because her exit from the show was swift.
12:37While no one hated Heidi,
12:38Jason had issues with her comedic style
12:41and called her difficult to work with.
12:43Oh, no.
12:44George, that's so ugly.
12:45We don't want that.
12:47What's the difference?
12:47You just read it and mail it right back.
12:49No one really believed him
12:51until Jerry Seinfeld and Julia Louis-Dreyfus
12:54worked with her on season seven,
12:55and they quickly agreed with Jason.
12:58While Heidi was written off as a result,
13:00Jason still vouches for her,
13:02calling her a, quote,
13:03kind and lovely person.
13:06Since when do you smoke?
13:09I've always smoked.
13:11Number 18.
13:13Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep.
13:15Kramer vs. Kramer.
13:17Ted, I'm leaving you.
13:18Yeah, there's no sugarcoating it.
13:20Reports say that Dustin Hoffman acted like a straight-up jerk towards Meryl Streep during this film's production.
13:26And it all started with a slap.
13:28Yep, a literal slap.
13:30Streep told the New York Times,
13:31That wasn't the only time he allegedly abused her during this time.
13:41She also claims that he groped her breasts on one occasion,
13:44threw a wine glass against a wall near her head,
13:47raised his voice,
13:48and criticized her.
13:49There's a lot of things I'd do different if I could.
13:52Just like I think there's a lot of things you wish you could change, but we can't.
13:55While she's since forgiven the inappropriate touching,
13:58it's clear that Streep has soldiered on from the past,
14:00as she's since become one of the most acclaimed actresses of all time.
14:04Where are you going?
14:05I don't know.
14:05She's garnered quite the reputation over the years,
14:16and is often regarded as one of the biggest divas in television history.
14:20Unfortunately for her Mallrats love interest,
14:22who was played by Jason Lee,
14:24she seemed to be just as problematic while working in the movies.
14:31Jason Lee apparently found Shannon very rude and difficult to work with,
14:35and he claims that she was heavily spoiled throughout the production.
14:38His comments are reminiscent of those of Jason Priestley and Alyssa Milano,
14:43both of whom openly acknowledged Shannon's alleged belligerent personality and work ethic.
14:49Brody, what kills me about you is your inability to function
14:52on the same plane of existence as the rest of us.
14:55Piss off.
14:56Number 16.
14:58Sybil Shepard and Bruce Willis.
15:00Moonlighting.
15:01So what brings you to this neck of the woods?
15:02Well, I guess I just wanted to see how you were doing.
15:06Sybil Shepard is not shy about expressing her frustration with Bruce Willis.
15:10In 2005, she admitted to Entertainment Weekly that the two, quote,
15:14hated each other.
15:15Their co-star, Curtis Armstrong, says as much in his book, Revenge of the Nerd.
15:20I can't believe you're gonna sit there and let me go through this by myself.
15:24He tells a few interesting stories,
15:26like the time Sybil grew so frustrated that she threw a suitcase at the wall.
15:31There are a few theories as to why they didn't get along.
15:34I hate you, David Addison.
15:36I know.
15:38I hate you too, Maddie Hayes.
15:40Curtis says that Sybil was called, quote,
15:42a bitch by the male-dominated crew.
15:45Another co-star called Bruce, quote, an asshole.
15:48Curtis also says that Bruce told him about a, quote,
15:51ill-conceived thing between him and Sybil, which led to their hostility.
15:56Whatever the case, it's safe to say that they did not love each other.
15:59You're back.
16:00You're right.
16:01You're scum.
16:02Number 15.
16:03Pierce Brosnan and Terry Hatcher.
16:05Tomorrow Never Dies.
16:07Tell me, James, do you still sleep with a gun under your pillow?
16:10In the franchise's 18th installment,
16:12Pierce Brosnan as Bond tries to stop a media mogul from starting World War III.
16:17Behind the scenes, the media reported that Brosnan was constantly furious with co-star Terry Hatcher,
16:23as she kept coming late to work in the morning.
16:25As it turns out, Hatcher was pregnant at the time of filming and was experiencing morning sickness.
16:30Brosnan later admitted to having said some things he shouldn't have,
16:33and has since apologized to Hatcher, as he was not aware of her situation.
16:37Do you know I used to look in the papers every day for your obituary?
16:43Well, I'm sorry.
16:44I keep disappointing you.
16:45He also told the press that everything had been blown out of proportion,
16:48and that supposed feuding wasn't as big as everyone had made it out to be.
16:53Regardless, it had still been a big deal at the time.
16:56Did I get too close for comfort?
17:00Number 14.
17:01Anthony Hopkins and Shirley MacLaine.
17:04A Change of Seasons.
17:05The name is Lindsay...
17:06Brecklage.
17:08She has a first name like a last name.
17:10This comedy about a married, middle-aged couple
17:12in which each member begins an affair with younger people
17:15stars Anthony Hopkins and Shirley MacLaine as the hitched pair in question.
17:20While they may be married in the film,
17:21Hopkins despised working with MacLaine in reality,
17:24and reportedly called her, quote,
17:26the most obnoxious actress he'd ever worked with.
17:29So you're not going to take me?
17:31I didn't say that, did I?
17:32Oh, you don't have to.
17:33Because it's showing all over your face.
17:35The film itself was not critically well-received,
17:37as demonstrated by its three Razzie Award nominations.
17:40However, MacLaine's lively performance at least helped make the duo's relationship
17:44seem realistic on screen.
17:46Oh, I hadn't noticed.
17:47Well, I did.
17:48Number 13.
17:49Selma Blair and Charlie Sheen.
17:52Anger Management.
17:53Whatever you do, do not tell Charlie Sheen that he has a poor work ethic.
17:57How was your day, doctor?
17:59It's about to get much better.
18:01Whatever you call a person with a master's degree.
18:03While filming Anger Management,
18:05Selma Blair allegedly complained about Charlie's lack of work ethic,
18:09as she thought he took too long to learn his lines.
18:12Word got back to Charlie, and according to an insider, he, quote,
18:16flew off the handle.
18:17Are you completely mental?
18:19Creating, quote, an awkward and toxic situation.
18:23Sheen retaliated by firing Blair via a nasty text message,
18:27in which he allegedly called her the C-word.
18:29However, Sheen says that they were planning on writing Blair's character off anyway,
18:33to make the show and Charlie's character more interesting.
18:37I'm having problems with my best friend.
18:38Charlie, not you.
18:41I got a lot more friends than you.
18:43Regardless, Selma lawyered up and demanded $1.2 million in lost wages.
18:48Number 12.
18:49Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.
18:52Dirty Dancing.
18:53I knew it would work out.
18:55I knew they'd have to apologize.
18:57I'm out, baby.
18:58This pair did not have the time of their lives on set.
19:00See what we did there?
19:01This romantic drama features Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze as a student and resort
19:06dance instructor, who fall in love during her summer vacation.
19:10While they may be almost too hot to handle on camera, Swayze found Grey incredibly difficult
19:15as a co-lead in real life, calling her too silly and immature to work with.
19:19Most of all, I'm scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my
19:23whole life the way I feel when I'm with you.
19:27The pair also supposedly had trouble working together on the set of Red Dawn three years
19:31earlier.
19:32They must have since mended fences, though, as Grey was clearly upset about Swayze's
19:37death in 2009.
19:39Nobody puts baby in a corner.
19:40Number 11.
19:41Leonardo DiCaprio and Clara Danes.
19:44Romeo and Juliet.
19:45If I profane with my unworthiest hand, this holy shrine, the gentle sin is this.
19:50Romeo and Juliet are literature's most iconic lovers.
19:54So it's very ironic that the two leads playing them did not get along.
19:59In this 1996 modern adaptation of the famous Shakespeare play, Romeo and Juliet vie for each
20:04other, despite their respective families' constant fighting.
20:07However, in real life, Danes reported that DiCaprio was a nuisance on set, acting very immature
20:13due to his pranks on crew members and general goofball attitude.
20:16I defy you stars!
20:19DiCaprio, in turn, called Danes stuck-up and too serious.
20:23While the characters maybe star-crossed lovers, the actors couldn't have been more mismatched.
20:28Romeo.
20:30Oh, Romeo.
20:32Wherefore art thou Romeo?
20:35Number 10.
20:36Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray.
20:38One Tree Hill.
20:39The difference?
20:41The difference is I love you, Brooke.
20:43Things were quite sweet for a while there.
20:46Sophia and Chad grew close throughout their time on One Tree Hill and even married in April
20:512005, right before the conclusion of the second season.
20:54However, they were separated the following September and later divorced.
20:58According to a friend of Sophia, Chad didn't share Sophia's enthusiasm for the sanctity of
21:04marriage.
21:05I wanted you to fight for me.
21:08I wanted you to say there is no one else that you could ever be with and that you'd rather be alone
21:14than without me.
21:15Sophia later told Andy Cohen that she never wanted to marry Chad, whose rep clapped back
21:20by saying that wasn't true and that Chad, quote, doesn't feel the need to engage in this type of
21:25behavior.
21:26Yeah.
21:26Then you get married.
21:27Oh, yeah.
21:28And you got married after how long?
21:30I don't even know.
21:30Right.
21:31And I didn't, it was not a thing I actually really wanted to do.
21:33Ouch.
21:34It sounds like there's still some bad blood between the two.
21:37Number 9.
21:38Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon.
21:40Four Christmases.
21:41Daphne, if I could interject.
21:42Save it, Kent.
21:43I'm not looking for a BFF.
21:45Daphne, please.
21:46This movie stars Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon as a loving couple who hate and actively avoid
21:51their families on Christmas.
21:53So maybe it's actually appropriate that the actors reportedly hated each other during filming.
21:58Their personalities reportedly clashed on set, with Witherspoon wishing to stick to the
22:02script so that she could nail a scene, while Vaughn wanted to ad-lib and work with a more
22:07easygoing approach.
22:08By the way, this is exactly what I was afraid would happen if we came here.
22:11While both certainly talented in their own way, their chemistry on set seemed to be the
22:15antithesis of Holly Jolly.
22:17I really don't want to get into this.
22:19Number 8.
22:20Marilyn Monroe and Laurence Olivier.
22:22The Prince and the Showgirl.
22:24Cheerio.
22:25Cheerio.
22:26This romantic comedy about a showgirl who gets involved in political intrigue caused co-stars
22:31Monroe and Olivier to despise each other by the film's end.
22:34Olivier also acted as director, and he supposedly became enraged at Monroe due to many factors,
22:41including her constant tardiness, her unpredictable acting, and her constant consulting of her acting
22:46coach.
22:46The little bear.
22:48So anxious to return to her nest.
22:51Well, this is my exit, I guess.
22:53The final nail in the coffin was when Olivier told her to try and be sexy.
22:57This would not be the last time Monroe allegedly caused problems, as Tony Curtis apparently
23:02became frustrated with her two years later, filming Some Like It Hot.
23:06Where did you lend a kiss like that?
23:08Number 7.
23:09Stana Caddick and Nathan Fillion.
23:12Castle.
23:13Becker, what do you want?
23:15You.
23:16When it comes to toxic working relationships, few are as hostile as Stana Caddick and Nathan
23:22Fillion's.
23:23An anonymous source told Us, not Us, Us Weekly, that Stana and Nathan, quote, completely despise
23:30each other and refuse to speak when the cameras aren't rolling.
23:34In fact, things got so bad between them that they were forced into couples counseling by the
23:38producers.
23:39I almost died.
23:42And all I could think about was you.
23:44I just want you.
23:48A second insider told Us that Nathan wasn't well-liked by the cast and crew, and that his
23:53nastiness caused Stana to cry in her dressing room.
23:57The show was canceled in 2016, and while it's terrible that all those people lost their jobs,
24:02it was probably for the best in this case.
24:04This is, without a doubt, the greatest birthday gift of my life!
24:17Number 6.
24:18William Baldwin and Sharon Stone.
24:20Sliver.
24:21You think I'm too young for you, don't you?
24:24This thriller stars William Baldwin and Sharon Stone as lovers in the middle of strange occurrences
24:28in a high-rise apartment building.
24:30Throughout filming, it was said that Stone would emasculate Baldwin, which he understandably
24:35did not appreciate.
24:37During one kissing scene, Stone supposedly bit Baldwin's tongue so hard that he couldn't
24:42talk for a few days afterwards.
24:44It's like playing God.
24:45Things became so bad that they soon requested that they shoot their scene separately, as
24:50they were obviously not getting along.
24:52Stone even went on to say that she would have preferred filming with Baldwin's older brother
24:55Alec in his place.
24:57Are we playing poker now?
25:02We're about to start.
25:03Number 5.
25:04Nick Nolte and Julia Roberts.
25:06I Love Trouble.
25:07What is that?
25:09What is what?
25:10This romantic comedy stars Nick Nolte and Julia Roberts' rival reporters, who fall in
25:16love while uncovering an altered milk conspiracy.
25:19Roberts has called Nolte, quote, the worst actor she's ever worked with, as well as completely
25:24disgusting.
25:25Nolte did not take kindly to Roberts' disdain, and shot back that she's not a nice person.
25:30You don't have to say that just to make me feel better.
25:33I'm not saying that to make you feel better, I'm saying that to make me feel better.
25:36Things were so bad that it was reported that they acted more with stand-ins than they did
25:41with each other.
25:42Their relationship has seemingly not progressed since, as they still appear to hold animosity
25:46towards each other in the 21st century.
25:49I suggest we get out of here as fast as we can.
25:51Why?
25:52Women's intuition.
25:53Number 4.
25:54Jillian Anderson and David Duchovny.
25:56The X-Files.
25:57What am I coming to see?
25:59I'm not going to tell you.
26:00I want you to decide for yourself.
26:02David and Jillian's hostile working relationship has been well documented.
26:06Their disagreements have been known since at least 1996, when Chris Nixon's book told
26:12of the fine line between the actor's happiness and irritability towards each other.
26:16It just means that proving to the world the existence of alien life is not my last dying
26:21wish.
26:23How about Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny?
26:26Other reports subsequently came out over the years, many of which recounted a strained working
26:31and personal relationship.
26:32David also told Metro that they often, quote, couldn't stand the sight of each other, and
26:38Jillian told The Guardian that she and David went through periods of not speaking to each
26:43other.
26:43Reports of a full-on vitriolic hatred may be exaggerated, but there's no denying that
26:48the actors had a tense and troublesome relationship.
26:51There was a lot of camaraderie there, it seemed like.
26:55Was it always like that?
26:56No.
26:57No.
26:58Number 3.
26:59Richard Gere and Deborah Winger.
27:01An officer and a gentleman.
27:03You know, Zach, it wouldn't kill you to open up to me a little bit.
27:05This romantic drama tells the story of a Navy aviation officer candidate, played by Richard
27:11Gere, who comes into conflict with his drill instructor.
27:14During filming of the famous love story, Gere and Deborah Winger definitely were not what
27:19you would call good friends, with Winger referring to Gere as a brick wall when trying to converse
27:24or interact with him.
27:25You know, man, you ain't nothing special.
27:27You got no manners.
27:28His stoic personality further aggravated Winger, and the two spent no time together off-camera,
27:33with reports that they distanced themselves as far away from each other as possible in
27:37order to give each other space.
27:39I know who you are and what you want.
27:43And what do you want?
27:45I want to have a good time until you have to leave.
27:47Number 2.
27:48Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.
27:51The Notebook.
27:52Say I'm a bird.
27:54No.
27:54This romantic drama about two lovers who are kept from each other because of their social
27:59standings is regarded as one of the seminal love stories of our generation, so it's disappointing
28:04to hear that the star-crossed lovers didn't actually get along on set.
28:07Director Nick Cassavetes reported that Gosling tried to have McAdams replaced due to his strong
28:12negative feelings for her.
28:14This led to a therapy session that saw the co-stars having it out with each other through
28:17screaming and yelling.
28:19Why are you righting?
28:22Why?
28:22Perhaps this very intense dislike for each other is what helped make the on-screen couple's
28:27passion translate so well to the big screen.
28:30Whatever the case may be, it seemed they got over their differences, albeit temporarily,
28:35as the two actors actually went on to date for a bit after the movie had been completed.
28:39Don't touch me!
28:41I hate you!
28:42I hate you!

28:59Number 1.
29:00Vivian Vance and William Frawley
29:02These two should have received all the acting awards, because they definitely deserved them.
29:14It all started when William overheard Vivian complaining about his age, as he was 22 years
29:19older than she was.
29:21William in turn wished that Vivian would return to her home state of Kansas, and Vivian proceeded
29:26to call him names like, quote, that stubborn-headed little Irishman.
29:30It's also important to note that William had alcohol use disorder and a reputation for
29:36being crabby and ill-tempered.
29:38Fred?
29:39Now, honeypunch, I'm not going to tell them your exact age.
29:43Let's just say it's somewhere between the speedy cleaners and Goldblatt's delicatessen.
29:47The two later declined a lucrative spin-off opportunity, as they didn't want to work
29:53with each other again.
29:54And according to Hollywood legend, Vivian jokingly ordered champagne when she heard about William's
30:00death.
30:00Now, that's true hatred right there.
30:03Give him back those tickets.
30:04Are you crazy?
30:05They cost $660 a piece.
30:06I don't care if they cost $660.
30:08We're not going.
30:09Well, I am.
30:10Well, take somebody else.
30:12Hey, there's an idea.
30:14Which couple were you surprised to see on this list?
30:16Let us know in the comments.
30:18I hate you, David Addison.
30:21I know.
30:23I hate you too, Matty Hayes.
