02:21Once again, cementing the UAE as a global leader in A.I.

02:25There's a clear difference between automation and A.I.

02:27And we wanted to make sure that all the companies that are within the city

02:31are actually in A.I. companies.

02:32and we were thinking about how we could possibly do it.

02:36And that's why the idea of the A.I. seal came through.

02:39We wanted to make sure that we provide an A.I. seal to every A.I. company

02:42so that we're quite sure that they either develop A.I.,

02:45they consult an A.I., they actually do research in A.I.

02:50Whatever the case and interaction with A.I.,

02:51we can provide an A.I. seal to make sure that you are the right company.

02:55Expand Northstar is the world's largest gathering of startups and investors

02:59and is part of JITEC's global.

03:01This year's event attracted 2,000 startups

03:05and 1,200 investors from around 180 countries.

03:09We're seeing an investment just last year,

03:13investment into Dubai and upwards of more than 11 billion euros

03:18that have come through Dubai.

03:20We're seeing a large amount as well of companies that want to expand into the European market

03:26and trade between just EU and the UAE, you know, exceeding 200 billion as a result.

03:33So one thing we're seeing in terms of trends is we're seeing a lot of investors

03:38that want to explore new and developing markets, in particular from Europe,

03:43come to Dubai to do so and to events like Expand Northstar here.

03:46JITEC's global is a crucial driver of cross-border investment

03:51and plays a major part in the growth of many companies.

03:54So this is my 15th JITEC's.

04:00I think it used to be like more like kind of common IT driven.

04:05I witnessed the change from kind of common IT, now AI, big data, you know,

04:10LRM, all this kind of stuff.

04:13And this becomes so popular, not only for Dubai or UE market,

04:17but it's really becoming a global event.

04:20For Tencent, we started, I joined Tencent in the year of 2022.

04:25And then I decided, at that time, you know,

04:27it was not that easy to fly from China to UE.

04:32But we managed to be here.

04:36We started from here.

04:37The event is a cornerstone of the Dubai events calendar

04:40and organisers also announced it would expand further

04:43with additions in India and Brazil in 2027.

04:47JITEC's global is truly that.
