00:45the way around I was I was so drawn to him and his passion and it really made me
00:50want to play this role I actually had to go back further because you know when I
00:55first decided that I was going to go for it in the music industry I just
00:59believed in myself so much and I was pounding down every door to get a
01:04meeting or to get a slot to play out in a dive bar anywhere whereas Ally's very
01:08different you know she's she's given up on herself she doesn't believe she's
01:12beautiful she doesn't think that she has anything to say that anyone wants to hear
01:18that she'll never make it so I actually went back further into high school or you
01:23know when I was bullied and I didn't feel beautiful and I didn't I didn't believe in
01:28myself so that's the major difference
01:31really nice to see you when you decide to sing in front of so many people for real
01:37I mean there's there is no room to not sing for live because so much of the
01:50movie is is based on authenticity and it would have been in so much happens while
01:55they're singing it's not as if we just take a break from the movie and you hear
01:59a song so there it would have been like if we performed acting scenes but didn't
