00:00...administration. What normal person watches this and says, sign me up, I want to be a part of this lot.
00:19What are they doing? Glorifying Antifa. They're calling their own heroes, essentially, domestic terrorists.
00:27Wearing masks outdoors. I mean, it's every stereotype. These democracy deniers make my job way too easy.
00:36And let's look at how President Donald Trump responded to this mass tantrum.
00:41He treated the No Kings nonsense with the disdain it richly deserves.
00:45Posting this video of him in a crown in a King Trump fighter jet, poop bombing protesters.
00:57We've never had a funnier president, folks, nor a more impactful one, but funny too.
01:18And the VP is just as funny, J.D. Vance, went on Blue Sky, that's the social media platform for the eco-chamber-dwelling lefties, and he posted this.
01:30Joining me now is President of the Centre of the American Experiment, and he writes for the hugely popular Powerline blog, John Heideraker.
01:59Heideraker. John, both the president and the VP have treated these protests with utter disdain.
02:07Got to say, I love it, but is there a danger to that strategy?
02:11I don't think so, Rita. These demonstrations richly deserve to be mocked, and it's not just Trump and Vance.
02:17There are AI-generated videos and memes all over the Internet making fun of these demonstrations.
02:22And the reason is that what these people are protesting against is democracy.
02:28Donald Trump won the election. He won it rather easily, and now he's carrying out the promises that he made to the American people.
02:36And that's what these protesters don't like. They're unhappy about being out of power.
02:40They're unhappy about being in the minority. And frankly, I don't think they're fooling anyone.
02:45John, to more consequential issues, Trump's foreign policy successes have been numerous in this second term,
02:53and he gave another example of his peace through strength philosophy recently.
02:58Have a listen to the president's response when asked about Venezuelan dictator Maduro.
03:03It has been reported that Maduro offered everything in his country, all the natural resources.
03:10He even recorded a message to you in English recently offering mediation.
03:15What should we do to stop that?
03:17He has offered everything. He's offered everything. You're right.
03:20You know why? Because he doesn't want to f*** around with the United States.
03:25Thank you, everybody.
03:26John, the Trump administration says it's in a war with narco-terrorist groups from Venezuela,
03:33and there's little doubt they want to see regime change in that country.
03:37They want to see the dictator toppled.
03:39Yeah, the administration clearly wants regime change.
03:42They've been blowing narco boats out of the water.
03:44They've got special forces carrying out exercises now very near to Venezuela.
03:50And they're right to want regime change.
03:52This administration, this regime has been an absolute disaster for the Venezuelan people.
03:58They're living in abject poverty and oppression under this socialist or communist rule.
04:04And so for the benefit of Venezuelans, yes, we need regime change, but also for the benefit of the United States.
04:11Venezuela has the potential to be a great ally of the United States and a real leader in Latin America.
04:17Venezuela used to be one of the richest countries in the world, and it can have a bright future if it gets rid of that terrible socialist government.
04:26John, we've had a real insight into the negotiations that led to the historic peace deal.
04:33Let's hear from Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, along with Jared Kushner.
04:39So we got into the room.
04:41The lead negotiator was sitting right next to me.
04:43That negotiator was in Doha when the Israelis struck.
04:47Correct.
04:48He survived, but his son was killed.
04:51Is that right?
04:52That's right.
04:52And we expressed our condolences to him for the loss of his son.
04:56He mentioned it.
04:57And I told him that I had lost a son and that we were both members of a really bad club, parents who had buried children.
05:06Witkoff's son, Andrew, died of an opioid overdose at the age of 22.
05:11When Steve and him spoke about their sons, it turned from a negotiation with a terrorist group to seeing two human beings kind of showing a vulnerability with each other.
05:23Is it true that once the deal was agreed to, that the Israelis there at that meeting and the Qataris began to hug each other?
05:32Absolutely.
05:33And I thought to myself, I wish the world could have seen it.
05:36That's quite remarkable, John, that personal...
