00:41Canada's Kevin Chen, aged 20, finished second and China's Zitong Wang, aged 26, came third.
00:48This year's competition included 84 participants, all born between 1995 and 2009.
00:54The majority hailed from China, Poland and Japan.
00:5811 contestants reached the finals.
01:00The nearly 100-year-old event is named after the famed Polish composer, Frederick Chopin.
