00:00Where is she? She's not here! Get out, Jeff!
00:03Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most uncomfortable, darkest, and unsettling jokes and moments from the history of the animated TV show Family Guy.
00:12Ready to join the Mile High Club? What?
00:17Number 30, the Nike commercial.
00:19After Colin Kaepernick's protest in 2016 and the fallout, Family Guy was bound to parody the incident at some point, and they did with season 18's The Movement.
00:27Oh my! Looks like Coach Peter Griffin is taking a knee during your national anthem! I am Canadian! What is he thinking aboot?
00:37To control his bowels, Peter takes a knee during a baseball game, which everyone assumed was a protest against racial injustice.
00:44This leads to the president of Nike arriving and offering him cash to be in a commercial, which we see before becoming disturbed.
00:50It starts off pretty normally and pretentiously.
00:53How do you know what's inside you unless you test yourself? Don't do one push-up. Do 100. Don't run one mile. Run a marathon.
01:03But it then goes off the rails as Peter becomes more extreme by having multiple families, one with an alternative lifestyle.
01:10However, by the end, Peter goes on a murder spree before he's executed.
01:15Number 29, Brian the Cat.
01:17If there's one thing Quagmire loves, it's, say it with us, cats! That's right, nothing else.
01:23In season 11's episode, Joe's Revenge, he and Peter help Joe go after the people who injured him years ago.
01:28Quagmire and I will help you bring this guy to justice.
01:31Peter, what did I say about you volunteering me for...
01:34So, Quagmire leaves his kitty, Princia Pesa, with Lois.
01:37With cats and dogs being natural enemies, Brian is jealous of Princia Pesa.
01:41At one point, Meg and Chris fawn over the cat making biscuits on Lois' chest as she sleeps.
01:47With his obsession for the Gryphon matriarch, Brian removes Princia Pesa and imitates the cat as he feels up Lois.
01:52Yikes.
01:53Lois soon wakes up, not at all surprised, causing Brian to knock her out with a lamp before darting away.
01:59Double yikes.
02:00This incident is never mentioned again.
02:02Stupid cat!
02:03Number 28. Powerless Aquaman.
02:06Thanks to the old-timey cartoon Super Friends, Aquaman doesn't have a great reputation with the masses.
02:11Instead, people assume he can only talk to fish and he's rubbish on land.
02:15In season 7's Baby Not On Board, Stewie sets up a cutaway by mentioning that Peter is more useless than Aquaman.
02:21You're more useless than Aquaman!
02:23The scene shows a woman being attacked by a criminal on the beach.
02:25The marine hero pops up in the ocean to save the day, only he doesn't.
02:29Instead, the criminal calls Aquaman out, who doesn't do much except yell some underwhelming threats and toss a starfish at him.
02:36Yet it gets worse.
02:37Aw, you're in for it now, buddy. I got like five fish coming to help.
02:41Oh, oh, here they are!
02:42By the end, the woman makes a plea, only for Aquaman to blame her for leading the criminal on.
02:48Number 27. JFK Pez Dispenser.
02:51In 2012, the creator and voice actor of Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane mentioned that, with hindsight, this joke was something he wouldn't have done today.
02:58In season 1's A Hero Sits Next Door, Peter is mistaken by the cops as a bank robber.
03:03Cool! The bank is getting jacked!
03:06Officer, my husband's in there. Can you tell me if he's okay?
03:09Uh, what's he look like?
03:10Uh, he's wearing a white-collared shirt, kind of big, with glasses.
03:15As an officer tries to snipe him, Lois knocks the firearm, so he misses the target.
03:20At that point, a kid leaves a store with a John F. Kennedy Pez dispenser.
03:23However, parodying the real assassination of JFK in 1963, the stray bullet destroys the plastic Pez head.
03:30However, the boy soon moves on as he has a Bobby Kennedy one too, JFK's brother, who in real life was also assassinated in 1968.
03:38Good thing I still have my Bobby Kennedy Pez dispenser.
03:41Number 26. The Pie.
03:43Apparently, the simple, delicious treat of a pie is often a backdrop for some of the darkest moments in Family Guy.
03:49For example, in season 10's Amish Guy, in this episode, Peter, after struggling to get on roller coasters due to his weight, is helped by his friends with dieting.
03:57Peter, if you want to ride that roller coaster, you're going to have to go on a diet.
04:01A diet, huh? All right, well, how's that work?
04:03So, using old-timey cartoon tropes, Quagmire makes a pie to test Peter's resilience.
04:08No matter how enticing the steam becomes to make Peter feast on the pie, he must resist.
04:13However, with his refusal, the steam becomes incredibly aggressive and begins to assault Peter, all while it forces Quagmire to watch.
04:20Peter! It's making me watch!
04:23Due to making light of such a horrible situation, it is super uncomfortable viewing.
04:28Number 25. Stewie's Lollipop.
04:30In 2020, as part of the protests against George Floyd's murder, monuments to problematic figures were destroyed.
04:36Well, the season 19 episode Pawtucket Pat nodded to this.
04:40He's a hero! Not anymore! He's a racist murderer! And this statue should be torn down!
04:45Brian and Stewie go to the park at night to remove Pat's statue after discovering a scandal about the local hero.
04:51As Brian is tying it up, Stewie mentions he's going to the bathroom.
04:54Brian tries to stop him, implying Stewie is in danger.
04:58However, he soon comes out with a lollipop.
05:00Rather than leave the joke there with a fake-out, captions pop in stating that Stewie is imagining the candy and that he was actually assaulted.
05:07The captions go further by explaining that Brian is going along with it because he doesn't want to deal with the situation.
05:12Now let's stop talking about that lollipop and get to work.
05:15Number 24. The reworked Cosby Show opening.
05:18At one point, Bill Cosby, the star of the Cosby Show, was known as America's dad.
05:23When we talked, I told you, I said you could come to me for anything.
05:28And you did exactly that.
05:31And one of these days, I'll forgive you for that.
05:33However, he was then accused of assault by several women, often allegedly using substances to sedate victims.
05:40While Cosby was sentenced to jail in 2018, he was released on a technicality in 2021.
05:45In season 14's Peter's Sister, with everyone watching TV at the Griffins for Thanksgiving,
05:50the intro for the Cosby Show comes up, mentioning that they're taking into account what we know about the star's crimes now.
05:55The opening credits display Cosby dancing like he did in the actual show.
05:59However, none of the performers, mostly women, are.
06:02Instead, they are all unconscious or intoxicated.
06:06Huh.
06:06Number 23. Minions 3 with Harvey Weinstein.
06:10There weren't many more powerful people in Hollywood than Weinstein.
06:14However, rather than use his standing for good, the film producer assaulted many women, earning him years in jail.
06:20In season 17's Bri Robot, the Griffon dog is celebrating his birthday and is handed gifts by the family.
06:26Happy birthday, Brian!
06:27One of them was a DVD of the made-up film Minions 3.
06:31However, instead of having Gru doing his antics, he's been replaced with Weinstein.
06:35A scene from the product comes up, showing the producer, barely covered by a robe, demonstrating to one of the Minions how much of a bad guy he is.
06:43The frightened creature can only utter one of its few English words, banana.
06:47Well, thanks everyone.
06:49What's wrong? You seem a little down.
06:51Number 22. Brian and Stewie's children.
06:54Brian and Stewie have a complicated relationship.
06:56Most of the time, they're BFFs.
06:58Other times, it's something more sinister.
07:00In season 13's Stewie is Ascent, the baby genius is concerned that Brian is distancing himself from him.
07:06If we're going to fix this relationship, we need a baby and we need it now.
07:10So, rather than have a non-horrifying conversation about what's going on and finding a solution together,
07:15Stewie impregnates himself after taking Brian's DNA without his blessing.
07:19And when the litter arrives, they are not in good condition.
07:22Most have massive health problems, causing several to perish in a short amount of time.
07:27Eventually, the duo realizes they are in over their heads.
07:30So, they drop them all off at the animal shelter and move on from that catastrophe of science and consent quickly.
07:36This is for the best.
07:38Yeah, I mean, I'm sure they'll be adopted.
07:39Oh, God, yeah.
07:40Number 21. Meg accepts her role.
07:43For years, Meg has been the emotional and physical punching bag for her family.
07:47Yet, in season 10's Seahorse Seashell Party, she finally stood up to her tormentors.
07:51My God, you're condescending.
07:54I'm making a legitimate point about how poorly this family treats me.
07:58In an eloquent and emotional speech, Meg puts each of the Griffins in their place, which they responded to.
08:03Finally, she was free.
08:04But when everyone begins arguing among themselves, Meg changes tack.
08:08She explains to Brian that she thinks the family won't survive unless she's the lightning rod to absorb the dysfunction.
08:14Brian doesn't fight Meg's assessment, instead praising her for going back to her previous sad role.
08:19You know, that's incredibly noble and mature, Meg.
08:22You know, I think you might be the strongest person in this house.
08:25You mean that, Brian?
08:27Absolutely.
08:27All that growth, and potentially a new status quo free from abuse, vanished when Meg told the family she was lying when she stood up to them.
08:35Number 20. Brian gives Stewie an STI.
08:38There are disgusting episodes, and then there's Herpy the Lovesore.
08:42A very dark and nasty piece of work, it concerns Stewie contracting herpes from Brian after the two become blood brothers.
08:49I think we should hold hands more often.
08:50There you go. We're blood brothers now. You happy?
08:52The story alone is quite disturbing.
08:54But what makes the whole situation worse are the revolting visuals that accompany it.
08:59Stewie has a graphic sore on his face throughout much of the episode.
09:02And at one point, we're treated to the gag-inducing sight of future Stewie's pus-leaking sores.
09:07Look at my lip! It's a disgusting herpes sore! And now I have some very uncomfortable phone calls to make!
09:13Gross-out humor has its place, but this whole storyline has a very unpleasant atmosphere about it.
09:18Number 19. Mayor McCheese as JFK.
09:22Assassinations are obviously a very sensitive subject, and joking about them requires towing a very fine line.
09:28Family Guy may have crossed that line here.
09:31Road to the Multiverse features a particular joke that sees Mayor McCheese standing in for JFK.
09:35So Nixon won the 1960 election and totally botched the Cuban Missile Crisis, causing World War III.
09:41Wow, so I guess Lee Harvey Oswald never shot Kennedy?
09:43No, he shot Mayor McCheese.
09:45Like Kennedy, McCheese is shot and killed by Lee Harvey Oswald.
09:49We're then treated to a very perturbing visual, as Jackie Kennedy climbs out of the car and eats pieces of McCheese's head.
09:56Yes, the joke is that he's an actual hamburger, but it's playing on a very real tragedy,
10:01and the unforgettably brutal footage that accompanied it.
10:04For some, the darkness may outweigh the humor.
10:07At least the show acknowledged its own bad taste.
10:10That joke's not in bad taste, right?
10:11Oh, who cares? He's a cheeseburger.
10:13Number 18. Michael J. Fox ruins Peter's shirt.
10:17And speaking of the show acknowledging its own bad taste, let's talk about Michael J. Fox.
10:21You only have two white shirts?
10:23Well, I had a third one, but it got ruined at that wine tasting at Michael J. Fox's house.
10:26In a rather brilliant but upsetting gag, Peter sets up a cutaway involving Fox before speaking to the camera and informing viewers that they won't be showing the bit.
10:35Of course, this is the bit, with Peter explaining the cutaway and then showing a check with illegible scribbles.
10:40Anyway, I sent him the bill and he sent me this check, but I don't think I'm going to be able to cash this.
10:47Just to rub salt in the wound, they then show the cutaway anyway, with Fox spilling red wine on Peter's shirt.
10:54Like some of the other jokes, this one is rather distasteful, as making fun of things like disease can be taboo and insensitive.
11:02Number 17. Stewie's grotesque injuries.
11:05Well, I'm off to buy imaginary groceries.
11:07Season 8 is widely considered to be one of the show's worst, with many fans singling out the darker tone and increased use of explicit violence.
11:15That is on full display in Brian Griffin's House of Pain.
11:19Stewie is accidentally knocked down the stairs and gets a massive gash in his head that knocks him into a comatose state.
11:26He then spends the rest of the episode unconscious and with an incredibly vivid and rotting head wound.
11:32It even draws the attention of a raccoon.
11:35Even by Family Guy standards, the subplot was wickedly unpleasant.
11:38Hey, I just found out it's November.
11:40Number 16. Aggressive Cancer.
11:43Yeah, that's a great achievement, just like the first chemotherapy patient to figure out the handkerchief look.
11:49As we now know, Family Guy isn't afraid to joke about things like assassinations and Parkinson's.
11:54Well, we can now add cancer to the list.
11:57A couple displays great enthusiasm at the man's new bandana,
12:00and they share a very brief moment of happiness before reality comes crashing back down with a grim reminder.
12:06It's like you don't even have cancer!
12:09I know!
12:09Oh my god!
12:11No, but I still have pretty aggressive cancer.
12:14Many people don't like making light of cancer, especially highly advanced forms.
12:19That seems to be the case with this poor man.
12:21And while the show wants to make us laugh, we, on the other hand, just feel bad for the guy.
12:26Number 15. Peter drives through the Boston Marathon.
12:30Holy crap, this is awesome!
12:32I haven't felt a rush like this since I won that marathon!
12:35Let's just take a moment to acknowledge that Peter is a mass killer.
12:38Not just in this episode, but like in general.
12:41In one of his coldest moments, he participates in the Boston Marathon by driving his car to the finish line.
12:47Unfortunately, this means running over and presumably killing dozens of runners.
12:51It's an unbelievably grisly joke at the best of times,
12:55but this episode aired less than a month before the attacks at the Boston Marathon in 2013.
13:01The tragic connection resulted in the episode being pulled from various services, including Hulu and Amazon.
13:07There are dark jokes, and then there's watching the protagonist happily commit a massacre.
13:11What do you guys say we all go celebrate at the Clam?
13:14Number 14. Peter reveals Anne Frank.
13:17Sorry, Chris. Me and my damn appetite.
13:20This isn't the first time it's got me into trouble.
13:22Family Guy likes pushing buttons, and that often comes at the expense of real people.
13:26And it arguably doesn't get much darker than the Holocaust.
13:30Anne Frank was a Jewish girl who hid from Nazis in the occupied Netherlands.
13:34Her family remained hidden for years before they were captured on August 4th, 1944.
13:39Frank was subsequently taken to a concentration camp and died in custody.
13:43We still don't know how they were found, but Family Guy suggests it was because of Peter.
13:48He's shown hiding with the Franks and loudly eating potato chips, which attracts the attention of the Nazis.
13:56Few shows would approach the Holocaust and the murder of a family with such vigor,
14:00but that's what helps Family Guy stand out from the pack.
14:04Number 13. Peter defends Chris.
14:07In this episode, Peter develops a fondness for tormenting his friends and family.
14:11Peter, what the hell is wrong with you?
14:13What's wrong with me? You're the one punching yourself in the face.
14:16The entire storyline is rather disturbing, as he uses Joe as a string puppet and pours boiling water on Lois.
14:23But it all starts with the horrific treatment of Kyle.
14:25Kyle has been pushing Chris around, literally, and Peter decides to confront him.
14:30After some goading that clearly hits a nerve, Peter sees red and physically squares up to his son's tormentor.
14:36Shut up, Kyle.
14:37I'm Peter Griffin. I'm a dorky, fat, numbnuts.
14:40Kyle, I said shut up!
14:42You're a poop nose!
14:43It is a very difficult scene to watch.
14:46The subject matter alone is rather unsettling, but the visuals and sound effects really add to its distressing nature.
14:52At least Peter realizes he's done wrong, as he runs home in a clear panic.
14:58Number 12. Peter has a stroke.
15:00Now, Family Guy is going after stroke victims.
15:03Peter, are you winking at me?
15:04Peter eats dozens of hamburgers and suffers a huge stroke that leaves half of his body paralyzed.
15:15Viewers are then treated to a rather graphic depiction of stroke symptoms.
15:19Half of Peter's face droops heavily, his speech is severely affected,
15:23and he clearly struggles to walk as he drags his paralyzed leg behind him.
15:28At one point, he even slams his arm in the car door and fails to realize it.
15:32For some, these scenes may prove highly offensive, as they're asking us to laugh at the severe symptoms of a medical emergency.
15:39Stroke! Stroke! Stroke!
15:42Stop mocking me!
15:44Number 11. The Death of Cecil Pritchfield.
15:47This is a very unique episode of Family Guy, featuring limited commercial breaks, an extended runtime, no cutaways, and the presence of Sir Ian McKellen.
15:57Send in Stewie, please.
15:58He plays Dr. Cecil Pritchfield, a child psychologist who attempts to dig through Stewie's psyche.
16:04He eventually breaks through the facade, but begins to suffer from a heart attack.
16:09He asks Stewie to get his medication, but the baby is unwilling to help, as the psychologist knows his deepest secrets.
16:16Mmm, yeah, listen, you're not gonna like this.
16:20Stewie sees an opportunity and watches Cecil die, although he later feels extreme guilt.
16:25This episode may have all been a dream, but it may have also been a memory.
16:29Either way, Stewie did a bad thing, and he is well aware of it.
16:34Brian?
16:35Yeah?
16:36I did something awful.
16:39Do you want to talk about it?
16:41No.
16:42Number 10. Everything with John Herbert.
16:45Not many shows regularly feature a character as open about crimes as bad as this.
16:50That's a mighty full shack you're carrying.
16:52Piss off, you perverted old freak!
16:54Herbert is the Griffins' neighbor, and he's got a thing for boys, including Chris.
16:59The Creepo made his debut in To Love and Die in Dixie by inviting Chris to perform a very inappropriate act.
17:05Got a nice tip for you right here in my pocket for my arthritis.
17:10Why don't you reach in there and fish it out for yourself?
17:13And he hasn't gotten any more pleasant from there.
17:15Herbert loves to watch Chris eat hot dogs, spies on him through the window,
17:19and attempts to catch children in a butterfly net.
17:22At one point, he even asks Brian for an ice cream truck.
17:26Super creepy.
17:27You know, with colorful pictures of ice cream treats.
17:31And it plays a tune that's fun for the young children.
17:34Number 9. Peter blows up a hospital.
17:37In this episode from Season 15, Peter and Lois misguidedly become vehement anti-vaxxers.
17:42We were gonna get Stewie vaccinated, but now after our research, we're definitely not.
17:47As if that's not dark enough, Peter mentions that he destroyed the entire town's supply of vaccines,
17:52and the scene then cuts to a parody of The Dark Knight.
17:55Peter is dressed as the Joker and walking away from an exploding hospital,
17:59with who knows how many people dying in the process.
18:02Once again, Peter is presumably committing mass murder,
18:05this time in an act of domestic terrorism.
18:07If that wasn't dark enough, he then makes a comment about going home and
18:12All right, what else did I have to do today?
18:14Ah, yes, overdose in my apartment. I better get home.
18:17Which references the death of Joker actor Heath Ledger.
18:20It's a rather vicious one-two punch that may leave some jaws on the floor.
18:25Number 8. Terminal News.
18:27Well, I better tell Cleveland. I got a neck for delivering bad news.
18:30I don't know how to tell you this, Mr. Devaney.
18:32So I'll let these guys do it.
18:34You have AIDS.
18:37Shocking Family Guy musical numbers are nothing new.
18:39They've been going strong since season 4.
18:42In the fourth season episode, The Cleveland Loretta Quagmire,
18:45Peter is seen with a barbershop quartet giving a man his AIDS diagnosis through song and dance.
18:50The crew admitted that the joke was meant to be tasteless in the DVD commentary,
18:54and their intentions were realized.
18:56As several AIDS organizations protested the song and its content,
19:00Family Guy goes to dark places,
19:02and cheerfully singing about a deadly pandemic and jokingly call it full-blown AIDS
19:06is undoubtedly one of its darkest moments.
19:09You've got the AIDS.
19:16Number 7. Stewie gets revenge on Olivia and Victor.
19:20Stewie, this is Victor.
19:21We did a Flintstones vitamins commercial together.
19:24Ten million strong and growing.
19:26We know Stewie is psychotic, but we didn't think he'd ever go this far.
19:31In the episode Chick Cancer, Stewie reunites with his old musical pal Olivia Fuller when she returns to Quahog.
19:37However, Stewie later finds Olivia playing with her friend Victor,
19:40and feeling betrayed, he sets the playhouse on fire with Olivia and Victor inside.
19:44This obviously isn't meant to be taken seriously,
19:53but watching them be set on fire makes for some incredibly difficult viewing.
19:57While Olivia would return in season 15,
20:00viewers went 10 years with no reason to think Stewie wasn't a murderer.
20:09Number 6. Ryan's Fate.
20:14Unlike its animated peers,
20:23Family Guy isn't known for packing dramatic punches,
20:26but Brian's death certainly got the tears flowing.
20:29In Life of Brian, Brian is run over by a car.
20:32His injuries are horrific and sad enough,
20:35but then the Griffins learn that they'll have to put him down.
20:37Brian says a touching farewell before passing away.
20:40You've...
20:40You've given me a wonderful life.
20:43While Stewie would eventually save his pal with the power of time travel,
20:47his initial death was both terribly sad and painfully dark,
20:50especially for those who've gone through similar situations with their beloved pets.
20:54Wow, Stewie.
20:56Thank you for saving my life.
20:58You know, a lot of other families would have just gotten a different dog and moved on.
21:01Oh, we could never do something like that, Brian.
21:05Number 5. Brenda's Boyfriend.
21:07She's a hot piece of ass, and from the looks of it, she likes it rough.
21:11That's my sister, Brian.
21:12Her boyfriend has been beating her mercilessly.
21:14The last thing she'd want right now is to be objectified.
21:16Oh, God, I'm really sorry.
21:18I got a deaf brother.
21:19You want to make fun of him, too?
21:21Family Guy often covers touchy and dramatic subjects,
21:23but it usually does it with surrealism and or tongue-in-cheek humor.
21:27Not so with Brenda's violent boyfriend, Jeff.
21:30In the episode, Jerome is the New Black,
21:32Quagmire is sheltering his sister from the abuse when Jeff shows up with a baseball bat.
21:37Their story is given significant attention in the episode,
21:39Screams of Silence, the story of Brenda Q,
21:41as the Griffins and Quagmire attempt to save the submissive and defensive Brenda from her relationship.
21:46It's all taken unusually seriously,
21:49and their story can be a little too realistic and upsetting for some to handle.
21:53Wow, I guess he's really gone.
22:00I kind of want to kill somebody else now.
22:05Number 4. Stewie and Brian's Christmas Home Invasion
22:08While so much for holiday cheer,
22:10in the Christmas special Road to the North Pole,
22:13Stewie and Brian take on the role of Santa,
22:15when the real Santa is too sick and exhausted.
22:17But their first stop proves to be disastrous.
22:20All right, look, let's just go.
22:22Right, right, we'll go.
22:23I'm just going to rewrap this bat for, um, Johnny.
22:26Let me just clean his father's blood and hair off it.
22:29Daddy!
22:30I want a drink of water.
22:31Stewie attacks the father with a baseball bat.
22:33He and Brian physically attack the mother after she discovers his body,
22:37and they tie up the daughter with duct tape.
22:39It's unclear if the two survived, but judging by the spilled blood,
22:42we're going to say no.
22:44It's a horribly gruesome scene that perfectly highlights the show's penchant for shock value
22:48and excessive violence.
22:49All right, come on, let's get out of here.
22:52Number 3. Brian's Revelation
22:54Just tell me, come on.
22:56No.
22:56Come on, please.
22:57The episode Brian and Stewie is a bit of an enigma.
23:01Not only is it light on the jokes,
23:02but it also features just those characters
23:05while tackling some extremely heavy subject matter,
23:07like finding out that Brian has contemplated taking his own life.
23:11Given that Brian is a staunch supporter of gun control,
23:21Stewie naturally asks him why he has a gun in his safety deposit box.
23:25Brian then reluctantly reveals that he's unhappy
23:27and finds comfort in the fact that he has a way out.
23:30While Peter has also broached the topic,
23:33Brian's scene is taken much more seriously
23:35and is one of the show's most upsetting and dramatic sequences.
23:39I mean, I love you as one loves another person
23:43whom one simply cannot do without.
23:47Well, I...
23:48I love you too, Stewie.
23:50Number 2. Peter Griffin Jr.
23:52And you better be responsible tonight.
23:54I don't want to repeat it the last time I left you alone with one of our children.
23:59It's just so horrible.
24:01The episode The Juice is Loose contains what is arguably
24:04the darkest cutaway in the show's history.
24:06And that is saying something.
24:08After Lois reminds Peter of what he did the last time he was alone with the children,
24:12the episode cuts to Peter Jr.'s grave.
24:14Peter explains that he thought shaking Peter Jr. would stop him from crying
24:18and then in true Family Guy fashion,
24:20adds that he was kind of right.
24:22Only Family Guy can make a joke out of something like that and have it work.
24:26But even then, it's hard not to say they went too far.
24:29I'm sorry, Lois.
24:31I thought if I shook him enough, he'd stop crying.
24:35I was kind of right.

24:53Number 1. Quagmire's behavior towards The Simpsons
24:56See, that wasn't so bad, was it?
24:57Oh, I gotta say, that was fantastic.
25:01What do you say we go back to your place for round two?
25:03Sounds good to me.
25:04They might be rivals, but this is just way too much.
25:08In the episode, Movin' Out Brian's Song,
25:10a fake promotion for The Simpsons appears on screen,
25:13and things turn horrific when Quagmire appears
25:16and he forces himself on Marge off screen.
25:18Hugely problematically, Marge ends up liking it and she takes him home.
25:23When Homer walks in, Quagmire shoots the entire family.
25:26You're amazing, Glenn!
25:28Oh, I just take a lot of pride in what I do.
25:30Hey, what's going on here?
25:32Unsurprisingly, Fox said no way and pulled the joke from the air.
25:37They later told the producers of both shows
25:39that they could no longer attack each other.
25:41The gag was eventually reinstated for the DVD release
25:44for all to watch in disbelief and disgust.
25:49Oh, no! Who will pay for my saxophone lessons?
25:55Is Family Guy the darkest animated show or is it something else?

26:02We'll see you next time.
