00:30I was visiting some friends in Barasat and they told me about this pandal being the oldest large pandal in the area and being the eve of Kali Puja. I thought it would be very nice to come with them and have a brief visit.
00:47During Durga Puja I visited 58 pandals around the Kolkata and surrounding cities and so this is probably the only Kali and definitely the first Kali pandal that I've been.
01:02But I think it's a very nice experience, very impressive. I can imagine tonight it would be amazing here and I'm sorry only that I have other commitments because being here at night would be 100 times better.
01:14But here I am now and very happy to have the chance and I'm thankful to my friend here Bilkis and her husband Tami for inviting me and showing me some of the true Bengali culture.

01:33My plan is to go to Kolkata now. I've finished my visits and I need to get on with my day. I have some official appointments.
01:41But having just landed this morning and being near the airport, I thought I would take the chance to come and wish them happy Diwali and happy Kali Puja.
