00:00I quickly, over the week, wrote Death Screams because I loved horror movies.
00:06I really loved horror movies.
00:08And I knew all their conventions to horror movies, things that you do.
00:13And also I loved Ten Little Indians.
00:15And Ten Little Indians, an Agatha Christie cult classic,
00:20one of the people who was killed turns out to be the murderer.
00:23And so I thought, oh, let's just do that with kids.
00:25And so the whole point was that you would have all these kids going out.
00:33And the rule was, if you want to split with your guy, that's okay.
00:37We won't even ask questions.
00:39So they all go out and they don't know there's a psycho out there hacking them down one by one.
00:45And then you think, well, it's got to be so-and-so that's the murderer.
00:48And then that person is killed.
00:50Oh, okay, it can't be that one.
00:51It's got to be this one.
00:53And then that person is killed.
00:54Every character had the potential of being a murderer.
00:59The little old granny in her wheelchair, she got up out of her wheelchair and she stood.
01:05And you realize, oh, she can walk.
01:07Now, supposedly she was supposed to walk into a closet in the back
01:10and there were all these knives and all because she had been cutting stuff.
01:15But then you think, aha, she's it.
01:18And I never killed her off, but I did kill everybody else.
01:21So I think, oh, she's it.
