Can Shai Gilgeous-Alexander win another NBA MVP, or could Doncic, Jokic, Durant or Wembanyama take his crown?
Transcript
00:00The thing that sets him apart is he'll probably be hungry for more, you know, he probably won't
00:22be satisfied with just winning this one time, he'll want to do it again, he'll want to be
00:25better, he'll want to see how he can tweak and maneuver his game to better fit and take
00:31advantage of the way people guard him, and that's just the special ability that he has
00:36mentally to be competitive and want to be great.
00:39Obviously, I went through a lot last year and it wasn't easy to adjust, so like I said
00:56before, this is a fresh start, a fresh mind for me, so, you know, I'm in a better place for sure.
01:02You know, Jokic has showed that he's an MVP player each and every year, he gives it all,
01:18he practices, he gets his team ready, and I think, you know, he's taking the right mindset
01:24with that team, the team has the following.
01:37I can assure you nobody has trained like I did this summer, and this is my best summer so far,
01:44like, I can tell the progress is just incredible. I feel better, I look stronger,
01:50and, you know, the scale says I'm heavier, so it's, everything is a green light.
02:08Obviously, I've been around him quite a bit and played against and coached against him for a long
02:13time, and so the things that he does, you know, achievements, accolades, those are things that
02:18go without saying, and when you have a guy like him, you can put it in his hands at times,
02:21and you can deliver like he has throughout his whole career.
