00:00I
00:27I generally don't like human beings, I have no idea, like is it a reflection of my state?
00:34Along with not liking humanity, also comes the responsibility to maybe help them become lovable.
00:44After hearing to Shunyata Saptati, yours and Asta Bakhra Dheeta, it felt like as if, oh my god, this is like...
00:51Too many terms are not needed, and if there are many terms, they'll all mean the same.
00:55Yes, absolutely. I also wonder, like the same truth, how you take us in different ways, and the examples are never repeated.
01:04I mean, I sometimes wonder, you know, like, how come you have such clarity? I mean, it's so amazing, and I'm so grateful.
01:14You know what clarity means? Nothing of one's own.
01:17After offering prasad to God, I'll take. Is it that or that?
01:23You must be the first one to accept the prasad, no? Because if you don't have it, how will you radiate it to others?
01:29But prasad, I repeat, is not just something to eat or something to wear.
01:33Prasad is what you get by being in contact with a luminous source. Your own inner illumination is prasad.
01:41You already signed my book at ESIC hospital.
01:50I usually generally don't like human beings. I have no idea.
01:55So, like, is it a reflection of my state?
01:59That might also be a reflection of what humanity has become.
02:06But when you do not like human beings, you must also remember that they do carry the potential to be lovable.
02:21Not just the potential to be loved, but the potential to be lovable, beyond likeable, lovable.
02:29So, along with not liking humanity, also comes the responsibility to make, maybe help them become lovable, to whatever extent one can.
02:48I just wanted to ask one more thing. Is it possible for you to interact with young adults at regular intervals?
02:58Like, I am talking as a mother, you know, I sometimes find it difficult.
03:01Oh, yeah.
03:02Between 17 to 22, something like that.
03:05Very regularly, very regularly.
03:07Like, I know that in sessions you do, but what about people who do not attend the sessions, who are not in the regular Gita classes, but have some questions.
03:15Institutions, open sessions, every month, visiting various kinds of institutions.
03:24Also, almost every month there are open sessions.
03:27Even if I visit institutions, most of those visits remain open to everybody.
03:32You can come there and attend.
03:34I was just wondering how to, you know, make them, other than watching videos, but make them ask some person.
03:41Yes, they can, I try to make myself available face to face.
03:48Spessions are already there 15 days a month.
03:52The remaining 15 days, 5 to 7 times.
03:56I am out for the general public.
04:00So, that sense, I think that availability is there.
04:03The schedule is there on website.
04:06Yes.
04:07So, clearly accessible.
04:10Just one last question.
04:13After knowing, like, you always emphasize on knowing and understanding and knowing, what, like, is knowing and realization the same?
04:24Yeah.
04:25Like, as if…
04:26If one were to split hairs, you know, one could say, this is this, this is this, this ends here, and then that happened.
04:37But much the same.
04:38Yeah.
04:39Because after hearing to Shunyata Saptati, yours, and Asta Vakra Gita, it felt like as if, oh my God, this is like…
04:46Too many terms are not needed.
04:47And if there are many terms, they will all mean the same.
04:50Yes.
04:51Absolutely.
04:52Like, I also wonder, like, the same truth, how you take us in different ways.
04:56And the examples are never repeated.
04:59I mean, I sometimes wonder, you know, like, how come you have such clarity?
05:05I mean, it's, it's so amazing.
05:07And I'm so grateful.
05:09You know what clarity means?
05:10Nothing of one's own.
05:12That's what is meant by being clear.
05:15Just as when we say that the table is clear, this means the table has nothing.
05:20That means there is complete freedom for anything to flow.
05:25Which means examples or whatever, or insights can, can come from anywhere and anytime.
05:32That is clarity.
05:33Clarity basically means being empty.
05:36But how come we don't?
05:38I mean, what's the difference?
05:41I enjoy travelling light.
05:44I don't carry baggage.
05:46I think that's the thing.
05:48You too will enjoy it.
05:50It's a matter of taste.
05:51You know, once you, once you taste it a bit, you really should.
05:58Thank you so much.
06:00I want to ask one thing, everybody.
06:02Do you, Puja, and then?
06:03Puja is a wonderful thing.
06:05God too is the highest if God is truth.
06:19If by God we mean the highest, then God has to be the absolute truth and not a figure of
06:27imagination, not a character in a story book.
06:30Right?
06:31So, so holding God as sacred is indeed wonderful.
06:35Wonderful.
06:36Provided God represents the truth to you.
06:41Otherwise, mostly we turn God into some fictional character in our fairy tales.
06:49And then God means nothing.
06:51In fact, then the concept of God may become dangerous also.
06:56Dangerous, divisive, all kinds of things.
07:00Puja also, same thing.
07:04To really worship, one must know the sacred.
07:09And only the sacred must be worshipped.
07:11Do you agree?
07:12I agree.
07:13Only the sacred must be worshipped.
07:15But if I do not know the sacred, then I will worship everything and anything in the
07:22name of sacredness.
07:24Right?
07:25So, that's the problem.
07:27Now, the sacred, by the way, is something that cannot be directly known.
07:32Right.
07:33Not available to senses and all.
07:35We know of that.
07:36Right?
07:37Has no name.
07:38Not available to senses.
07:39Can't be touched.
07:40Can't be talked of.
07:41Can't be thought of.
07:42But we can at least know that which is mundane, sensual, ordinary.
07:50We can know that.
07:53And then we can at least stop worshipping that as sacred.
07:57And that would suffice.
07:59And that would be real puja.
08:01That would mean not surrendering to that which is not absolute.
08:07Yes.
08:08Yes.
08:09One offers her devotion to the sacred.
08:10Right?
08:11So, puja is wonderful.
08:12God, prasad.
08:13All these are wonderful things.
08:14See, please understand.
08:15What is prasad?
08:16You, you, you, you, you visit the temple, the place of sacredness.
08:23And then you get something in return and then you distribute it to others.
08:29Right?
08:30So, so, so the fruits of realization, the radiance of the sun, that you selflessly just distribute
08:56to the entire world, that is prasad.
08:59Prasad is not just something that you can eat as some sweet meal or something.
09:08So, you read this for example, there is a certain realization and you want to share it with
09:18everybody.
09:19That is prasad.
09:21Or if you are close to the Bhagavad Gita and there are insights and you start living those
09:28insights.
09:29Hmm?
09:30And others look at you and see something special, something luminous.
09:35Right?
09:36And they feel inspired.
09:37That is prasad.
09:38That is prasad.
09:39Right?
09:40Right?
09:41Otherwise, it's then all about laddu, barki, peda.
09:48That hardly helps.
09:49That's fine.
09:50That's a mood uplifter.
09:51Sugar helps dupamine.
09:52So, to that extent, that is fine.
09:53But that will not have any spiritual effect.
10:09That will not serve any transcendental purpose.
10:13Right?
10:14So, one has to remember what godliness really is.
10:18One has to remember what sacredness is.
10:20Yes.
10:21Then all worship becomes right.
10:26Otherwise, it's just a ritual.
10:28Rituals help nobody.
10:30Rituals with understanding attain a certain meaning.
10:40Rituals without understanding are just mechanical acts.
10:45You could even say wastage of time.
10:48After offering prasad to god, I will take.
10:53Is it bad or?
10:55You must be the first one to accept the prasad.
10:58No?
10:59Because if you don't have it, how will you radiate it to others?
11:02Right?
11:03If you don't understand the Gita, how will you bring it to others?
11:08So, you must be the first one to receive prasad and be thankful.
11:13There must be gratitude.
11:14But prasad, I repeat, is not just something to eat or something to wear.
11:21Prasad is what you get by being in contact with a luminous source.
11:29Your own inner illumination is prasad.
11:32Right?
11:33All else is just very literal.
11:36It doesn't care.
11:51So next to me, I will give you two seconds.
12:03You will have one on the right next second when June 18 after two of December 18 pure oil strainook.
12:07We have to go that light more immediately.
12:10I will remember like, noise?
12:11The French Basin said, you will.
12:13All else is more of a chair like ainating foot at the trailer.
12:15We tried it because she is here.
