00:39Although Ayman missed out on the top honour, his nomination was still a proud moment as he became the first Malaysian player to be shortlisted for the prestigious award.
00:48Japan's Hana Takahashi took the women's title ahead of Holly McNamara from Australia and China's Wang Shuang.
00:55She became the sixth Japanese player to win since China's Sanwen won the inaugural award in 1999.
