00:15who was trying to reunite with his daughter.

00:22So David uses food as a way of reminding Rebecca

00:25of the way he loves her.

00:27Food is a language of love,

00:29especially in our series.

00:31We've all experienced smelling food

00:33that just transports you back in time

00:35and connects you to an older version of yourself

00:38and maybe makes you realize just how much you have changed.

00:41There's a special connection to culture through food as well.

00:44It was very important for me to shoot something in Korea

00:47because that's been a big part of my culture and my history.

00:50I remember when I was a little kid,

00:52my mom making kimchi in the kitchen.

00:55And so the fresh made kimchi is still one of my favorites

00:58because of that memory.

01:03We're shooting a sequence where we feature a lot of the food.

01:07Everything looks so good.

01:08It's the first time I've gotten to mix my American heritage

01:13and my Korean heritage together in one series

01:15with a lot of international action.

01:17I really hope that people enjoy the action of the show

01:25and the family relationships.

01:27It's unique in a lot of ways

01:29and I hope it's memorable.
