De De Pyaar De 2 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film and a sequel to the 2019 movie De De Pyaar De.
Here is a description of the movie:
Plot Summary:
The film picks up where the first one left off, continuing the story of the London-based NRI investor Ashish Mehra (Ajay Devgn), who is in a relationship with the much younger Ayesha Khurana (Rakul Preet Singh).
Having won the approval of his own estranged family in the first film, Ashish now faces his toughest challenge yet: getting the blessing of Ayesha's family for their marriage.
The central conflict revolves around Ashish meeting Ayesha's parents. Tensions arise when Ayesha's father, Rajji Khurana (R. Madhavan), realizes that Ashish is nearly the same age as him, if not older. This age gap and the awkward family dynamics lead to a hilarious "Pyaar vs Parivaar" (Love vs. Family) clash.
To further complicate things, Ayesha's parents attempt a plan to break up the couple by introducing a new, younger character, played by Meezaan Jafri, to try and win Ayesha over. The film promises a mix of humor, romance, and family drama as Ashish attempts to prove himself and win over his skeptical in-laws.
Key Cast:
* Ajay Devgn as Ashish Mehra
* Rakul Preet Singh as Ayesha Khurana
* R. Madhavan as Rajji Khurana (Ayesha's father)
* Gautami Kapoor as Mrs. Khurana (Ayesha's mother)
