To pin or unpin a tab in Google Chrome, follow these steps:

To Pin a Tab

1. Open Google Chrome and navigate to the website you want to pin.
2. Right-click on the tab at the top of the browser.
3. From the menu that appears, select “Pin.” The tab will shrink and move to the left side of the tab bar, and it will remain there even if you close and reopen Chrome.

To Unpin a Tab

1. Locate the pinned tab that you want to unpin.
2. Right-click on the tab.
3. Select “Unpin” from the menu. The tab will return to its regular size and position on the tab bar.

Pinned tabs are helpful for keeping your frequently used sites easily accessible!

00:15You can pin it, here is a tab, for example, I open YouTube here and want to pin it permanently.
00:24Simply I will click on the top of this tab and click once again on the pin button.
00:31This tab will go to the left side and become smaller and take less space with the fav icon.
00:38For example, I close Google Chrome and reopen it.
00:43Here you can see our YouTube tab is automatically opened.
00:48Now it's time to learn how to unpin it.
00:52Simply right click on it and unpin.
00:56This will be open and you can close it with cross button.
