लिफ्टची चाचणी आता वर्षातून एकदा करण्याची सक्ती करण्यात आलीय. परंतु गेली 7 वर्षे या आदेशाचं पालनच झालेलं नाही, असा गंभीर आरोप याचिकेतून करण्यात आलाय.

00:17Now, PWD and Energy Department were separated in 2015.

00:23For two years, the Energy Department did not create a website.

00:28After a lot of co-ection or after filing RTIs, they created a website.

00:37But the data in it, they did not fill it together.

00:42In 2022, they started to do an inspection.

00:50Now, what has happened is, it is now 9 years and LIFT rule has not been notified.

00:57The LIFT Act cannot be implemented.

01:18The main issue is that the construction lifts can only be transported to the material.

01:26But because there is no certification in government and regulatory body,

01:33with construction and hoist lifts, there are many accidents.

01:39And there is a third party which is certifying these hoist lifts.

01:44I understand that the government should certify themselves.

01:48And there has to be a regulatory mechanism that if there are accidents of construction lifts,

01:55they must immediately attend to it and a fire should be lodged.
