00:00Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel. So, I want to share a story about friendship,
00:06revenge, and a lesson learned the hard way. This is about me and my university best friend,
00:13let's call her Anya. We do everything together, from attending boring lectures to surviving on
00:19cheap cafeteria food. One Tuesday, after a particularly long day, I reached into my bag
00:26for my phone. It wasn't there. I panicked. I emptied my entire bag onto my bed, books, pens, wallet,
00:35but no phone. My heart started racing. For two whole days, I was a mess. I couldn't sleep. I was
00:45constantly anxious, retracing my steps everywhere. I imagined it stolen, lost forever, all my photos
00:52and contacts gone.I told Anya about it, and she was the picture of a supportive friend.
00:58Oh no. Don't worry, we'll find it, she said, even helping me look for it. But on the third day,
01:06she walked into my room with a sly grin, holding out my phone. Looking for this, she laughed.
01:13I borrowed it from your bag to check a song and totally forgot to tell you.
01:17I was so relieved to have it back, but that relief quickly turned into pure,
01:23unadulterated fury. You forgot. For two days.
01:28Anya, I was going crazy. She just laughed it off, thinking it was a hilarious prank.
01:35That's when I decided. This couldn't go unpunished. I needed a revenge so subtle, so clever, that she
01:43would feel the same frustration, but in tiny, confusing doses, and I had the perfect plan,
01:48you see, Anya is a night owl. She stays up late scrolling through her phone, and every night,
01:55like clockwork, she would place it on her bedside table and go to sleep.
02:00My plan was simple, information warfare. I started gathering intel. I found out which
02:08mobile network she used, and I memoized her phone number from an old project file.
02:13The operation began that very night. Around 2 a.m., when I was sure she was fast asleep.
02:20I would go to the network provider's website. I'd enter her number, and with a few clicks.
02:27I would temporarily block her SIM card. The next morning, chaos would ensue.
02:32My phone has no service, she'd yell, frustrated. I can't call anyone. My data isn't working.
02:42She'd spend the entire morning running to the customer service center, at the university
02:47gate to get it unblocked, convinced it was some network glitch.
02:52And I. I was the picture of innocence. That's so weird, Anya. Maybe it's the weather.
03:00I'd suggest, hiding my smile behind a textbook, dot I did this every single night for a week.
03:07Every night, her SIM got blocked. Every morning, she had to go through the hassle of getting it
03:14reactivated. The frustration on her face was my daily dose of satisfaction. She was living in a
03:21world of constant, minor inconvenience, just like I had for those two long days.
03:26Finally, after a week, I confessed. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I told her everything.
03:35At first, she was shocked, then she was angry and then, she started laughing. A real, genuine laugh.
03:44She finally understood the genius, and the madness, of my revenge. We called a truce.
03:49No more phone pranks. Ever. We are still university fellows and best friends, but now with a silent
03:58agreement. Our belongings, especially our phones, are strictly off-limits for pranks. So, what do you
04:05think? Was my revenge justified? Let me know in the comments below if you've ever pulled off a
04:12clever revenge on a friend. Don't forget to like and subscribe for more stories from my university
04:18life. Bye.
