00:00Hi, I'm Cd from 12082. I have a question for you that I think patient still can get access to the effective drug that can manage K2I inhibitors.
00:13So how can you move to more universal and fair access, especially public?
00:17Correct, yeah. Now, the sodium glucose co-transported two of the SGLT2I inhibitors was approved first in budget 2025.
00:29Allocation from our SSB tax, our sugar sweetened beverages tax, for treatment and expansion of this is already in place.
00:42Now, allocation of an additional 21 million on top of the 23 million existing MOH budget for procurement of SGLT2I inhibitors
00:55are already accorded or allocated for 2026.
01:02As you very well know, SGLT2I use are very protective to kidney, not just renal protection, but as well cardio protection as well.
01:12And of course, maintaining or managing diabetes, mitigating diabetes secretly or, you know, with other words, other outcomes, yeah, other untoward outcomes.
01:27So, yes, SGLT2I, your question, we have been allocated the additional 21 million for 2026.
01:36And that's also coming from our dose crude from SSB tax, sugar sweetened beverages tax, you know, is earmarked for MOH, particularly for diabetes management.
01:52The reason by that, 2026, will there be an increased purchase of PD?
01:58The first policy is what I have vouched and I have undertaken from my first year, which is 2024.
02:08Yes, we have been allocated an amount that we will then, you know, give allocation based on disciplines and whatnot as to the requirement.
02:19But I'm quite sure now we want to shift.
02:22It used to be 40, 60, 40, PD, 60, HD.
02:28Now, at least we want to move into 50, 50 before we get to the reverse situation of 60, PD and 40, HD.
02:37So, for now, yeah, we will have, we will move in that direction.
02:41A PD first policy is my current policy and moving forward.
02:46And, of course, I want to get transplantation, which is the most, you know, curative, will be the way.
02:53And I'm working and looking at Dato' Zaki Murad and team to get this, you know, in the very near future.
03:01Thank you, thank you, thank you.
03:03Okay.
