00:11how do you feel about the age of being able to get into porn,

00:14the age of consent, I should say?

00:16This is such a controversial topic.

00:19So many people believe that you shouldn't be 18,

00:22you should be at least 21 or 25.

00:26And then I've seen other people argue

00:28that that's a privileged way to look at it.

00:31Some people need, it's like survival sex work.

00:36They need to get in at 18

00:37because that gets them out of a bad situation.

00:39So I've heard both sides

00:41and I just think it's interesting.

00:43So I think porn is a little different

00:45than other kinds of sex work in this way.

00:46I don't find porn to be as survival-y

00:49because it actually takes quite a bit of time

00:51to make money within porn

00:53versus escorting or stripping or other forms.

00:57I don't like anyone deciding for me

01:03what I can and can't do.

01:05So I am hesitant to be like,

01:08you have to be a certain age to do it.

01:10But do I think that it would be cooler

01:11if you understand yourself more,

01:14understand your boundaries more,

01:15know yourself better?

01:16Also, your brain is fully formed

01:20for making a decision that will follow you

01:22for the rest of your life.

01:23I think it's better for people to do it

01:27when they're older.

01:28I think your experiences will be better.

01:32I think you will actually fully understand

01:34the decision that you're making.

01:37But yeah, I'm hesitant to ever be like,

01:40there should be a law to whatever

01:42because I just don't feel like

01:44people should be making our decisions for us.

01:45Yeah, and also like for me,

01:47I just feel like if society has decided

01:49that 18 is when you're an adult

01:51and that's the age of consent

01:52for all the other things

01:53that you can do at 18,

01:54and that's the age of consent.

01:56Like to make an exception for porn,

01:58I think is a slippery slope

01:59and that's dangerous.

02:01And do I think 18-year-olds are children?

02:06And it's like definitely like

02:09because I kind of don't really do

02:17oh, I feel like I'm on set with a child.

02:20Like, and like, you know,

02:22and I had like complicated feelings about it,

02:24but I'm like, well, they're here.

02:27I'm glad that I'm their co-star

02:28and I'm going to make sure

02:30that I'm a good experience for them.

02:32And I would check in and whatever

02:33and just kind of whatever.

02:34But I definitely felt like I was like

02:36playing their mom,

02:37but then like being their mom on set.

02:38Yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:39Because I was just like,

02:40oh, you're like, you're very young.

02:42And I don't know.

02:43I was thinking about myself at 18.

02:44I was so stupid.

02:46Yeah.

02:47And messy and whatever.

02:49And so, you know,

02:50I do see it and I'm just like,

02:51oh, I hope you're okay.

02:53Yeah.

02:53And it's not necessarily like,

02:55because I feel like all entertainment

02:57is like that beyond just porn.

02:59I think it's just like a hard business period.

03:02And I think it's like,

03:04yeah, it's hard for young people,

03:05especially when you don't really know who you are.

03:11There's so much of you that you don't know.

03:14But you think you know everything.
