05:33The entire Goku Black arc was building to the moment future Trunks would finally reclaim

05:41It coming in the form of an insane spirit sword is just the icing on top.
05:45Even if this isn't technically the end for Zamasu, seeing Trunks unite his world to literally

08:07Damn the odds, Bardock faced Planet Vegeta's destruction with pride.
08:12And we have to admit, he did pretty well considering it was one guy against an army.
08:18Bardock pounds, beats and thrashes Freeza's men until he's face to face with the space tyrant himself.
08:24Yeah, it's pretty amazing.
08:41While he doesn't get much further than that, you can't help but respect that Bardock used every last breath to try and save his people.

08:52Long past the point where he should have been relevant,
08:55Tien gave a middle finger to power scaling and let his Neo-Tri-Beam do the talking.
09:01Ask Cell how it went down.
09:02Take this, you tri-beam!
09:16Keep in mind, the slimy villain was halfway to perfection
09:20and had proven himself stronger than Piccolo and the androids combined.
09:24But against all odds, Tien pinned him down with an endless onslaught of ferocious tri-beam attacks.
09:31Again, and again, and again.
09:41Fruitless as it may be, Tien's sacrifice was enough to buy the other's time to escape.
09:46Guess Saiyans aren't the only ones who can throw down the gauntlets.
09:50Number 10 A Lesson in Super Saiyan
10:00Vegeta's days of mayhem and mercilessly executing his foes may be behind him,
10:05but that doesn't mean he's not above teaching a wayward Saiyan a lesson in manners.
10:18After coming under attack from Broly and his pups,
10:23Vegeta takes the opportunity to demonstrate all the forms a Saiyan can attain.
10:38From the classic gold all the way to godly red,
10:46Vegeta scores his junior completely and utterly and it is amazing to watch,
10:51especially when rendered in such gorgeous animation.
11:06Number 9 The First Flash
11:10Heads up, there's a lot of Vegeta here.
11:13But when the Prince of Saiyans is pulling off stunts like this,
11:17it's impossible not to highlight them.
11:26After attaining his perfect form,
11:28Cell makes quick work of practically everyone, including Vegeta.
11:32His pride and ego is instantly shattered when his punches stop making an impact.
11:46Enraged and humiliated, Vegeta pulls out all the stops, namely his ultimate finishing move.
12:00The blast is so intense that not only does it take off half of Cell's body,
12:13but also illuminates a fraction of the planet.
12:16Goku gets back in the fight after exhausting the power of Ultra Instinct,
12:28it looked like Goku was out for the count.
12:31That would have been all well and good if it weren't for Jiren getting his second wind.
12:35Empowered beyond his maximum, the alien warrior lays waste to both Freeza and Android 17,
12:49dooming Universe 7's prospect of survival.
12:52That is, until a torn and tattered Goku emerges to throw himself back into the fray,
13:06and in doing so unites two former enemies into a last bastion,
13:11while also letting loose some impressive ki energy.
13:14Tangoing with Kid Buu is no easy feat.
13:27The pink planet destroyer can knock around the likes of Goku
13:30when he's fully kitted out as a Super Saiyan 3.
13:33So you can guess just how badly he was able to smack around base level Vegeta.
13:44And yet, despite being mauled and literally beaten into the ground,
13:49the Saiyan Prince refuses to go down without a fight.
14:01His sheer tenacity and unwillingness to fall is so intense
14:06that it even strikes fear into a creature as single-minded as Buu.
14:10In a bombastic callback to how strong he was when he defeated Cell,
14:30this brief yet glimmering brawl against Super Buu showcased what an adult Gohan would look like
14:36if he was still the main character.
14:47Following his training with the old Kai, Gohan makes a last-second appearance to save Piccolo
14:52and his brother, and single-handedly wrecks Buu in the most satisfyingly disrespectful way.
15:07It may not have lasted long, but this display of ferocity reminded us
15:11that Goku's firstborn is indeed a beast.
15:25Goku and Freeza's long-awaited rematch within Super certainly at its peaks,
15:29especially when it came to the reveal of their newly acquired Ultimate forms.

15:41Initially, it appeared that Golden Freeza was able to match Goku beat for beat,
15:46perhaps even best the likes of Super Saiyan Blue.
15:49That is, until Goku shut him down with this epic display.
15:53Not only does he eat one of Freeza's punches without flinching,
16:05but responds in kind with a one-inch strike that leaves the tyrant reeling.

16:20Trunks Destroys Future Androids
16:23While the likes of 17 and 18 in the current timeline were able to redeem themselves,
16:28that was not the case for those who resided in Trunks's future.
16:40The last time the son of Vegeta encountered this lethal duo,
16:44they decisively wrecked him.
16:46This time, very different results.
16:48Thanks to the intense amount of training he endured, Trunks was on a whole different level,
17:02which he swiftly proved by annihilating 17, 18, an imperfect cell like they were Cybermen,
17:09avenging all he had lost in the process.

17:22Super Saiyan 2 Not since his daddy first went golden,
17:26as a transformation rocked the foundations of anime itself.

17:40After some encouragement from 16, followed by Cell killing him,
17:44Gohan finally snaps and showcases the latent power he had inside him.
17:49This new form not only comes with plenty more hair spikes, but a zero tolerance for Cell's wicked ways,
18:03leading to Gohan laying down the law and beating the perfect android and his progeny
18:09to near extinction without breaking a sweat.
18:12This point in time, Gohan was the single strongest character the series had ever seen,
18:25and it was amazing to witness.

18:27Final Atonement
18:31Vegeta's relapse into evil initially looked like the end of any kind of redemption arc
18:46he had been building towards.
18:53Happy to embrace the dark side again for another chance to best Goku,
18:58he had traded his new life away then and there,
19:01and then he turned everything around with an act that was as selfless as it was demonstrably amazing.
19:12Facing off against Majin Buu,
19:14Vegeta unleashes an attack of such magnitude that it claims his own life in the process,
19:20but not before giving his final farewells to those he now realizes he's come to care for,
19:26including Goku.
