Lors d’une conférence pendant le Portugal Football Summit à Lisbonne, le président de l'UEFA, Aleksander Ceferin, estime que le nouveau format de la Ligue des champions est « un grand succès ».

00:00My experience, not just in football, but in football especially, is that everybody wants changes, but nobody wants to implement changes.

00:09Everybody said we have to do something, but the moment you try to do something, they say no, no, no, no, but it's not good, and so.

00:15So we were quite brave to do it.

00:17We had to speak with stakeholders a lot, and it's a super successful competition,

00:24because before, as you know, and you know it perfectly, that in December you already knew who will qualify.

00:31Now, last match, last year, PSG and Manchester City were not sure if they will qualify.

00:40And this unpredictability of the competition is the thing that why we are watching football.

00:46You don't watch football if the result is known in advance.

00:49So a big success. We are super happy with it.
