00:00Once, there was an innocent and not very imposing young man,

00:05whose job it was to keep watch over the geese.

00:08His name was Matt.

00:11Matt the Gooseboy.

00:13Now, Matt's story is one that starts with a monstrous injustice.

00:18One committed by the ruler of the land, the evil Lord Blackheart.

00:23He tried to steal your excellency's goose, sir.

00:26That's a lie. The goose is mine, sir.

00:28Take the bird away from him and tell the boy to remove himself from my sight.

00:35I swear by this hand three times in all that you will pay for this.

00:51Lord Blackheart and his men had a hearty laugh that day.

00:55But as the years passed, Matt grew older and stronger and ever more determined to keep his promise.

01:02And one day, the king received a very unusual visitor.

01:06Through a series of schemes and intrigues, Lord Blackheart soon found himself alone with the stranger

01:12and in a most compromising position.

01:14Then, it turned out that this stranger wasn't a stranger at all.

01:27The humiliation of his lordship was total.

01:35And thereafter, the ruler lived in fear of Matt the Gooseboy, who had promised to return again.

01:41To protect himself, Lord Blackheart ordered that the highest walls be built to keep Matt out.

01:47Every conceivable precaution was taken.

01:54A huge army stood at the ready.

01:58And everywhere his soldiers searched for the impudent young rebel, Matt the Gooseboy.

02:07For Lord Blackheart, the fear of the Gooseboy was becoming something more than an obsession.

02:13He forced his guards to suspect every stranger that visited the castle.

02:18They had to doubt every witch that dropped by to cast a spell.
