00:00It happens a lot though, doesn't it?
00:02You are insane.
00:03I wouldn't watch my own movies on a plane.
00:05That would be weird.
00:07Thank you for terrifying me for ever going on a cruise again, guys.
00:10No problem.
00:11Was that the aim, Simon?
00:12Yeah, mostly.
00:13It was just like, why do people pay money to be out at sea?
00:19That was the main question I wanted to leave an audience's minds.
00:24Really?
00:25No.
00:26I was going to say you did really well.
00:28No.
00:30I mean, I think that what's fun...
00:35I mean, that's the Agatha Christie thing, isn't it?
00:37You know, the film kind of starts in that zone
00:40of the most kind of beautiful environment
00:44can have something very sinister underneath it.
00:47Also being trapped somewhere.
00:49Yeah, that's the thing.
00:50And you go, so you're trapped.
00:51You're in the middle of nowhere.
00:53And if you're my character, you know somebody is a murderer.
00:57And you're trapped with them on a boat.
00:59Yeah.
01:00I mean, that's the stuff of nightmares.
01:02And nobody believes you.
01:04Well, I was going to say, does that resonate now in this day and age
01:07that someone doesn't believe you?
01:08Because honestly, that's one of my biggest fears.
01:10That and spider.
01:11Spiders.
01:12Spiders?
01:13Spiders.
01:14Yeah.
01:15Oh, my God.
01:16Absolutely terrible.
01:17Thank goodness a number of those at sea.
01:18Yeah, people not believing you.
01:19It's terrifying, the prospect.
01:20Do you think so?
01:21I mean, yeah.
01:22It happens a lot, though, doesn't it?
01:24You know, I'm thinking of traitors.
01:25I'm watching traitors.
01:26You know what I mean?
01:27You watch them all and they're like, I'm not a traitor.
01:29You know, I had that in my head a lot when I was doing this.
01:31You go, I am innocent.
01:32And the more you say you're innocent, the more somebody goes,
01:35I think you're lying.
01:36And that's what this is.
01:37The more she says, I saw somebody go off the boat,
01:39everybody goes, you are insane.
01:42And I think, again, the amazing thing of a character
01:45who has the strength to go, no, I know what I saw.
01:48And I'm absolutely, even though everybody hates me
01:50and everybody's telling me I'm nuts, I know what I saw.
01:53Amazing.
01:54Very strong.
01:55There is a celebrity traitors.
01:56Can we get you a last minute addition?
01:57I'm all right.
01:58Thank you very much.
01:59I love watching it, though.
02:01Would you be any good at that kind of thing?
02:03I mean, the rest of the cast actually played traitors
02:07when we were in Scotland.
02:08They did.
02:09They did.
02:10Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:11They actually played their own game of traitors.
02:12And I believe Netflix has the footage of their version of traitors.
02:16Yeah.
02:17I know who won, but I'm not going to say.
02:19Yeah, yeah.
02:20Wow.
02:21Yeah.
02:22I mean, look, I think that nightmare of comparing your own memories
02:32or your own kind of empirical experience with other people's version of events
02:39is like having to constantly question yourself because she's a journalist.
02:44She has to do that.
02:45She has to go, am I right?
02:47Yes, I am.
02:48Am I right?
02:49And if she were ever to go, there's not enough evidence for me to keep,
02:53you know, pursuing this like a dog with a bone, then I will stop.
02:58But she keeps finding a little bit more.
03:01That's the, you know, the plot of the film.
03:03She will not give up, will she?
03:04No, but she keeps getting, like if she didn't find a whole heap of things
03:09that she does on the way, then I think she might go.
03:12Maybe I was drunk.
03:13Maybe I was drunk or there, you know, or it was some kind of weird spiritual thing
03:19that I am, I now need to go at.
03:22Get therapy.
03:24Or, or become, or become a spiritualist or someone who connects with the afterlife
03:30or whatever, like, you know, like, I think there, I think, but she keeps seeing
03:35and stupidly someone writes on a mirror and, and says, stop doing this.
03:44Uh, thereby kind of misunderstanding the fundamental character of Lowe,
03:50which is, I'm going to do exactly the opposite of what you're recommending
03:54in that mirror because you've just shown yourself.
03:56If I was going to be stuck on a boat, I'd love it to be with neighbour's very own Guy Pearce.
04:00I mean, was, I would just, wouldn't even know, I would be so excited.
04:03I mean, yeah.
04:04Were you?
04:05He's a lovely person to be stuck on a boat with.
04:06Also, totally happy to talk about Neighbours.
04:08Yeah.
04:09Is he?
04:10Yeah.
04:11You're both a bit too young for remembering Mike actually in it.
04:13I think I do remember it.
04:15The problem was I was growing up in the wrong country.
04:18I was in Switzerland and Neighbours didn't make it to Switzerland.
04:21Oh.
04:22But if I'd been growing up here, I would totally.
04:25You see, I, I did watch Neighbours, but I think after he'd already left,
04:29I think just after he left.
04:30I think just after he left.
04:31Just after he left.
04:32Yeah.
04:33So I did miss him in Neighbours.
04:34I got him in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert though.
04:36I've now worked with both Jason Donovan as an actor, when I was an actor.
04:40Yeah.
04:41One of the first big TV shows that I was a semi-regular on, Jason Donovan was a regular on.
04:47Nice.
04:48Now I've worked with Guy Pearce.
04:49I haven't worked with Kylie yet.
04:50Oh, go on, get Kylie on the next one.
04:51Yeah.
04:52Can we get her on maybe the spin-off of this?
04:54The sequel?
04:55The sequel?
04:56Murder on a Pedalo or something.
04:58She Kylie popping up.
04:59It's going to be amazing.
05:00She could be singing as well.
05:01Yeah.
05:02And could you cope without Wi-Fi?
05:03Without Wi-Fi?
05:04Oh, you're so happy without Wi-Fi.
05:07I have recently, I saw, I just, I just broke the seal on something that I, I used to do,
05:13which was whenever I was on a plane, I would not do the Wi-Fi option.
05:16And I just started the Wi-Fi option.
05:18Are you enjoying it?
05:19Oh, it's so good.
05:20Because I love, I hate watching movies on planes.
05:23I love watching movies on planes.
05:25It's my favorite.
05:26It makes them all amazing.
05:28And I cry so much that literally people come over to me and go like, are you okay?
05:31I'm like sobbing.
05:32I love that part.
05:33I love that.
05:34I love that part of it.
05:36But as someone who has just been making a movie, trying to make sure it looks good on
05:41any screen, like it's just like, that is terrible.
05:44Why would, and it's like 20 generations old as well.
05:49But I read the newspaper.
05:51And so it's amazing to kind of find, and when people are like, hey, can you meet there and
05:56there and there?
05:57I was like, can't right now.
05:58I'm on a plane over Kazakhstan.
06:01And that feels quite.
06:02It's quite cool.
06:03Quite cool.
06:04Yeah, it's quite cool.
06:05Thank you so much, guys.
06:06And I'd love to be on a plane watching you, watch your own movies, crying.
06:08That'd be amazing.
06:09I wouldn't watch my own movie on a plane.
06:12That would be weird.
06:13But I would watch one A movie on a plane.
06:16Yeah, yeah, yeah.
06:17Oh, I love it.
06:18Mostly something like Ratatouille.
06:20Yeah, sure.
06:21Yeah, yeah, yeah.
