Palace brands Cayetano call for snap polls 'wishful thinking

Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro says on Oct. 7, 2025 that Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano's call for snap elections is 'wishful thinking.' The Palace official also reiterated that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. would rather focus on helping victims of past calamities and his other responsibilities.
