00:05I got here a few days ago and spent the last few days exploring Edinburgh, which was such a
00:10beautiful city. I really enjoyed myself there. But in this video, I'm going to be exploring the
00:14Scottish Highlands, which has been on my bucket list for a while now. So I'm super excited to be
00:18here and to be exploring this beautiful part of the world. We took a train from Edinburgh to
00:23Inverness, which was about four hours long, but was extremely scenic. We even spotted a rainbow,
00:28the first of many. Checked into our hotel in Inverness and this is our view.
00:36So say good morning to my boss, Finley. Moon in everyone, moon in.
00:45Good morning everyone. It's a new day in Scotland and today we're doing a tour of the Isle of Skye.
00:51So in an ideal world, all of the Scottish Highlands would better be explored driving around. But both
00:57my friend and I aren't very comfortable driving. So we've booked a tour through Get Your Guide
01:01and it's basically like a 12-hour tour covering the ferry pools and a few other spots along
01:06the way. Starting with the first stop, which is Loch Ness that you see behind me. This is
01:11supposed to be the largest loch in Scotland. Loch basically means a lake. And what this place
01:16is famous for is its sea monsters. The most famous one is called the Loch Ness Monster, also
01:21known as Nessie. We started pretty early this morning and the sun is just rising. The views
01:26are spectacular. This looks so beautiful. From here you also have a really nice view of
01:31Irkwood Castle.
01:38They actually won the battle for us.
01:46Let's check it out. Let's take a look at that rainbow there. Wow!
01:53After the most scenic drive, our next stop for the day is this castle behind me. It's called
02:02Eileen Donnan Castle and this is probably the most photographed and most popular castle here
02:07in Scotland. It's kind of on an island and it's so picturesque. You can buy tickets to go
02:12inside and walk over this bridge to get to the island. But look at those views. So we have
02:18a one hour stop here. Just gonna walk around, enjoy these views and maybe get some coffee.
02:22The drive to this place was so beautiful by the way. We spotted a couple of rainbows along
02:27the way. The landscapes are just unreal. They keep changing every few minutes I feel like.
02:33And the weather also keeps changing. So one second it's pouring, then it's bright and sunny.
02:37And also we've seen so many lakes today.
02:40I bought myself a carrot cake and some coffee.
03:04How stunning are these views.
03:07Making a quick stop to check out the Highland Coos. Oh my god, how cute! Bye!
03:14So we've made it to the Isle of Skye. The views here are just out of this world. It's spectacular.
03:39Right now I'm at this place called the Fairy Pools. So it's basically like a 2.4km long hike.
03:46And along the way you can see tons of waterfalls. And the weather right now is so dreamy and foggy.
03:51So everything is looking so beautiful.
03:53It's extremely windy but oh my god this is so beautiful. Feels extremely dreamy. I mean check out these views.
03:58It is a bit of a hike. So I'm gonna quickly head to the top and maybe make stops on the way back.
04:05When I'm walking on a breeze. I got no enemies. I just do what I please.

04:51oh my god this place was so stunning like all the waterfalls along the way especially the last one
05:06it literally feels very magical so the name fairy pools is very fitting but right now i have like
05:12half an hour to head all the way back to the top so i might have to sprint a bit that's where i
05:16need to go the next stop on today's tour is talisker distillery so if you're in scotland whiskey is one
05:35of the most popular drinks i'm not a big fan of whiskey to be honest so i don't know if i'm
05:39going to be trying any but let's go inside and check this place out
05:42so we've made it to our last stop for the day which is poetry poetry is the capital of isle of sky
06:06and i think it's the only city over here and it's quite a small city so you can easily walk
06:11around in like half an hour just gonna stop get some food first and then walk around explore the city
06:17poetry has been such a tiny big town
06:33uh this coffee is is delicious and today's tour was amazing we got a lot done for one day
06:42yeah she completes my sentence yeah we vibe in but yeah poetry has actually been very cute it's so
06:49tiny there's just two streets here so just chilling got some coffee have like a few more minutes over
06:55here to chill also our tour today has actually been amazing our guide is so entertaining talks non-stop
07:00shared so much information with us and also along the way was playing scottish music so you kind of get
07:06the feel of the place and yeah i think overall this was actually a great tour definitely recommended
07:12so we're back in inverness after an amazing day out in the scottish highlands and we've come to this
07:24thai place for dinner i feel like every few days i start craving thai food so it was much needed
07:30ordered some thai curry and spring rolls super excited for this meal
07:35good morning everyone it's quite a chill day here in inverness we're off to a very late start
07:46the last few days have been so hectic that we kind of just wanted to relax and also catch up on some work
07:51but we're spending the day in the city just exploring walking around it's actually such a small
07:56but cute city there isn't much to do but it's a great place to have as your base to explore the
08:02scottish highlands which is why we're spending like four nights here yesterday we did the 12 hour long
08:07day trip which was amazing tomorrow we have another 12 hour long day trip booked so today is kind of just
08:12a chill day in the city first things first we're gonna go get some food and then we shall do some exploring
08:19so for breakfast we've come to this really cute cafe called culture cafe it was right by a hotel
08:31a hotel is also in such a great location and i really love the vibe of inverness it's like such a
08:36small like cute little town and uh yeah i'm excited to just chill in the city today and for my food and coffee
08:44i don't know why all the cemeteries here are so pretty
09:02so we've kind of just been walking around the city and we decided to pick up some postcards and
09:19send to our friends and family back home so i got three postcards gonna quickly write a note
09:23postcards are done we're now going to check out the victorian food market
09:46i had a feeling but the feeling is all gone wait hold on we'll be together take me back what i've been
09:58on yes i'm having some hot chocolate and it looks so good i want it all i had a feeling but the feeling
10:10is all gone the sun is about to set and everything just looks so magical
10:24if i could take you back to my you show you what i wish i'd knew my will is strong with a place to lean
10:44in the moment i hung best believe the other this behind me is the main cathedral of inverness

11:06it's super early in the morning we started our day at 7 a.m like left the hotel at 7 a.m we're doing a 12
11:28hour tour today like i mentioned earlier and the highlight of today's tour is the glenfinan
11:33wire docked and you'll see why once we get there but our first stop for the day
11:37we're back in loch ness so beautiful this time of the day and behind me you can see the
11:41irkwood castle which we saw day before yesterday as well
11:47i made it to glenfinan and this is the highlight of the tour today so i'm a big pot ahead and this
12:11place is basically the bridge where you see hogwarts express going so once you see it you'll know what i'm
12:16talking about but i'm so excited to finally witness this and in about 40 minutes there's this jacobite
12:21steam train that goes by which kind of looks like hogwarts express so we're gonna go up to the
12:25viewpoint and hopefully catch the train but honestly today has just been so amazing so far
12:30the drive to this place was beautiful and this is actually my first time ever experiencing fall so
12:36i've never really witnessed all these fall colors and it's just so pretty but first let's go get
12:41some coffee if you keep on waiting but then you came along look you can see it in the back there
12:47stay again because you glue all the pieces back together yeah you you take all my wrongs and make them
12:57better yeah you oh my god look how many people are here for that view so free oh my sweet baby
13:11how was that that was amazing i wish i could go to hogwarts right now i know so we spotted the
13:22train and it was so beautiful this whole place is really picturesque and i'm so glad we got to check
13:27it out but there are so many people here what did you think of this experience it was great fall is
13:34falling yeah i think uh this is like such a great time to be here because the fall colors just look
13:40amazing i was never the one to give up the ghost no i was so stuck i kept on playing my part wanted to
13:48give it because nothing was changing but with you it's so clear and now that you're here it's been such
13:55a beautiful day so far in the scottish highlands but we are making a quick stop for lunch in this small
14:00little town called malig it's like a fishing town slash village very small and cute place and the
14:06views along the way were so nice there was so much water and the fall colors everything just looks so
14:11beautiful at this place called the tea garden cafe now for lunch here you go thank you the carrot cake
14:20looks so good so that behind me is ben nevis which is apparently the tallest mountain in the uk so
14:43we're making a quick stop at this little town called port augustus which looks very cute we only have half
14:49an hour here so let's walk around check out this place maybe get some coffee this is so picturesque
15:01this place is so cute there's so many like tiny cafes and colorful buildings
15:11and i think to myself and i'm thinking out loud we won't need nothing else
15:18for the rest of our time for the rest of our time and i know it so well i will always be by your side
15:36made it to our last stop for the day before we head back to inverness we are now in this place called
15:41doors and doors and there's a really nice beach here to check out this here is doors beach
16:01so we're back in inverness and that was such a great tour a really long day i think it's been
16:0612 hours but we ended up seeing so many things today and honestly i think fall is such a nice
16:12time to visit scotland if you're lucky with the weather like we've been the fall colors just look
16:17spectacular and i'm so glad we did this tour but anyway we're heading for dinner now so last night we
16:23went to this place called hootenanny which was the food was amazing and there was live scottish music
16:29so we really enjoyed it definitely feel like i want to go back there for that salad that i had last night
16:35and more food and the dessert was amazing as well so i'm going to do a repeat of that meal
