00:26:31Yeah, confidence tends to fall apart rather quickly when you're in there with the greatest women's wrestler of all time.
00:26:37And it's not just me saying it, you know the rest.

00:26:43And she's taking it right to her.
00:26:44And I think standing your ground early is critical for Maxine Wade.

00:26:49You crumble at the feet of Becky Lynch in the early goings, you are simply not going to get back up.
00:26:54But that may be as good as it gets for Maxine Dupree who is, without doubt, the least experienced member of the women's division here on Raw.
00:27:04You see Maxine going to the offense early and I'll take you back to August 11th when it was very different.
00:27:10When she struggled early and Becky was mocking her, just flexing and saying, get out of my ring, you don't deserve to be here.
00:27:17Yeah, and that's part of the issue between these two. Lynch has zero respect for anyone lower down the pecking order such as Dupree.
00:27:25And until you get yourself into that world champion category that Lynch has made her home, Lynch views you as simply a waste of space and a waste of oxygen here on Raw.
00:27:36And that is the complete distaste she has for Maxine Dupree.
00:27:39You know, there was a glimmer of hope from Dupree when they met up on August 11th.
00:27:44There was a moment when Big Time Vex was going for the manhandle slam and Maxine countered with a stunner and then was able to put a series of offense together.
00:27:53And now she's standing right up to Becky.
00:27:58Well, you called it a moment. It may have been a fleeting moment, but perhaps one of those moments is not speak too soon.
00:28:04It always is a moment. It's a brief moment in time where perhaps Lynch drops her guard for a second.
00:28:12It gets a little too arrogant and Maxine takes the opportunity.
00:28:16And right now this is going about as well as I feared it would go for Maxine Dupree.
00:28:21Maxine's got to gather herself again against the seven-time world champion and the Intercontinental Champion who's held that title for 120 days at this point.
00:28:36And look, I'll tell you right now, I've got a lot of admiration for Maxine Dupree.
00:28:40She's training incredibly hard with the likes of Tyson Kidd and Natalya.
00:28:44Yep.
00:28:45However, there are levels to this and Maxine, for my money, should be aiming at more the mid-card here of Rawrodden at the very top at home.

00:29:25And if you don't make the most of it, someone the caliber of Lynch is going to be back at you in the blink of an eye.

00:29:59Wade, I do think you can see some improvement, but still there, as you said, there are levels to this game.

00:30:06I've actually been really impressed with Maxine Dupree.
00:30:08First of all, for hanging in there, she's taken a hell of a beating already.
00:30:11But also, two, three, maybe four times there have been flories of offense.
00:30:18We get a little trash talking in the corner.
00:30:20That's how easy it's been for Lynch right now.
00:30:22She can talk trash while she's attacking Maxine.
00:30:25But Maxine, time and again, is trying to bounce back.
00:30:29And that is easier said than done against someone like Becky Lynch.
00:30:32As Lynch comes splashing into the corner and she's playing to the crowd and fighting off the crowd as much as she's fighting against Dupree.
00:30:41I'll tell you right now, Maxine has been one of the loudest superstars behind the scenes, demanding opportunities from our GMs.
00:30:50Well, she got one tonight and she might be a little bit quieter next week the way this is going.
00:30:57Not all opportunities are created equally.
00:31:01And right now, she looks like she's got to climb Mount Everest.
00:31:06You can see her just struggling to get back to her feet.
00:31:09As time and again, Lynch, she could possibly fight out of that position and she looks to do so with that elbow.
00:31:17And now this is the spirit that Dupree wants to show.
00:31:21Well, Becky Lynch is really fighting angry and yet has been ever since that loss at Wrestlepalooza.
00:31:27And fighting angry can be beneficial, but it can also take you out of whatever strategy you would normally apply against a superstar like Maxine.
00:31:37And you can see now Lynch is getting a little flustered and frustrated that Maxine keeps fighting back.
00:31:43I think Lynch thought she was going to have an easy night this evening.
00:31:46Of course, that was back on September 20th at Wrestlepalooza in Indy when CM Punk and AJ Lee defeated Seth and Becky in that mixed tag team match.
00:32:11But again, Maxine struggling to get back to her feet, struggling to find a way back into this.
00:32:17And the pace of Becky Lynch just hasn't been enough at times here and Maxine keeps bouncing back.

00:50:09but she's also so precise with those shots no wasted movement whatsoever bullseye every single time
00:50:16both of our competitors are very fluid athletes compact explosive dynamic and fluid and look
00:50:23they do know each other very well they've been competing against each other since their days in
00:50:28nxt lyra has been spending a lot of time in nxt a friendship with tatum paxley meanwhile we're
00:50:38kindling a friendship with bailey here on raw although that shot to the arm there by roxanne perez
00:50:44was the right move at the right time and may have changed the game in this one and now just
00:50:51working on that left arm look at that angle and the torque and the pressure so mean and vindictive
00:51:00roxanne perez just beating down that left arm of lyra valkyria here in dallas
00:51:14how quickly things can change wade yeah this has turned into a potential disaster now for
00:51:24lyra valkyria not only may she end up needing some sort of treatment on that arm post match

00:51:37trouble and knowing how mean and vindictive roxanne perez can be there will be no let up whatsoever

00:51:50aiming to command the women's division and this is the kind of scalp you really want to claim

00:52:31at two although the referee has taken a very close look at that left arm of valkyria i've seen matches
00:52:36ended because of things like this before and once again roxanne perez now taunting bailey on the outside
00:52:43but continuing the assault on that arm this is brutal it's just brutal watch it she snaps it back
00:52:51it's brutal but it's exactly what roxanne perez needs to be doing she has designs on
00:52:56conquering this entire division
00:53:00she barely desperate to rally support for lyra
00:53:04and this continued attack on the shoulder the bicep the elbow joint the wrist that left
00:53:15arm of lyra valkyria has been brutalized
00:53:18brez is just enjoying that she's technically not even trying to beat valkyria at this point
00:53:23may technically i suppose be going for a submission but i'm not seeing any pin attempts any attempts to
00:53:28finish this match simply enjoying torturing an opponent while under the brightest of spotlights
00:53:36you might not like it but that is the kind of attitude that has taken a lot of people to the
00:53:40very top in this game she's literally wade inventing new ways to put torque on that joint different
00:53:48angles be creative gone opening fully exploited and perez has done exactly that so far but of course you
00:53:56know valkyria will keep on fighting with whatever she's got
00:54:14joe tessitore and wade barrett with you here with this massive crowd at the american airlines center in
00:54:20dallas the story of this match between roxanne perez and lyra valkyria has been roxanne perez brutalizing
00:54:27the left arm but now you see lyra valkyria trying to fight back and what does perez do she goes right
00:54:34back to that left shoulder that left elbow it has been a constant attack it's been a horror show thus far
00:54:41for lyra valkyria once perez got the advantage there was absolutely no let up and i feared the worst
00:54:49for valkyria and certainly that arm help she may have somehow engineered an opportunity to get back
00:54:56into this now bailey on one side rapel rodriguez on the other as bailey has been trying to rally this
00:55:03crowd to rally support from lyra valkyria look at this offensive attack as she has her left arm pinned
00:55:09against her body she's been in so much pain essentially fighting against all your instincts
00:55:14knowing full well that left arm is not useful about bridging figuring it out is valkyria perez rolls
00:55:22right through and now valkyria on the offense
00:55:30and a kick out at two so that pin there you really want to be hooking the neck and linking your own
00:55:35hands together keep an eye on this pin after this visual and superx the left hand off valkyria she had
00:55:41to pull it out because of the pain and therefore the pin was simply not tight enough to get the three
00:55:46count there is the issue with having a busted limb it's really hindering the attacks of lyra valkyria
00:55:53trying to put her in position here is lyra but holding on to that top rope is perez
00:55:58maybe looking for nightwing right away here in the center of the ring but instead what a great counter
00:56:04by perez and rolling right back is valkyria back and forth these young talented rivals go
00:56:12this again with that nightwing i don't think lyra could quite apply it fully due to that busted arm may
00:56:18need something extra creative from valkyria here if she's somehow gonna pull out a victory oh raquel rodriguez
00:56:24is up on the apron just when valkyria is trying to mount offense and go up to the rope she's
00:56:30distracting the referee and with that it gives time to roxanne perez oh valkyria knew that was the
00:56:36moment to pick up the pace but wait a second oh look at bailey look at bailey giving her some leverage
00:56:41and some help well much needed at that moment in time oh and it works out just fine hooks the leg
00:56:49and a kick out by perez well that was the creative offense valkyria needed but it wasn't quite enough
00:56:54clearly bailey on the outside being the big equalizer oh bailey was saying nightwing nightwing
