00:00Gather now. So 2.1 petition 1538 to protect full stroke services at Bronglais Hospital,
00:07prevent downgrade to treat and transfer. So the whole of our University Health Board's
00:13consultation processes proposes removing Bronglais Hospital's full stroke service,
00:21forcing patients from Ceredigion, Powys and South Merioneth into risky long distance transfers to
00:29Hospital in Llangetli or Haverdford West. We urge the Senedd and Welsh Government to intervene
00:37immediately, insisting that the Health Board fully assesses these impacts and commits to
00:46maintaining Bronglais as a stroke rehabilitation unit, protecting vital health services in Mid Wales.
00:55The submitter is Bryony Davis, and she has collected a total of 17,881 signatures.

01:14Diolch David. Given that the petition is just shy of 18,000 signatures, could I suggest that we ask
01:25Business Committee for a debate? It was past the threshold, so in this instance I think it's
01:31pretty clear for us to request for the debate.

01:49from the Protect Bronglais Services Group, so a lot of that information could be incorporated into the
