00:13He loves coming on visits and he loves Christmas.

00:27So I came by because I thought maybe you could use a hand like a volunteer.

00:31We can truly use the help, especially with the Christmas adoption drive coming up.

00:34I was thinking maybe it's a good way for me to keep busy right now.

00:37I have a new volunteer and he did a lot of cleaning.

00:39Is he handsome?

00:40Mom!

00:41If she didn't ask, I was going to say the same thing.

00:43He's nice, but I don't know a lot about him yet.

00:46So what can I do?

00:47We're pretty much at capacity with the number of animals we're sheltering.

00:50A lot of furry ones to take care of, huh?

00:51So thank you for being here.

00:53Since you've been volunteering, you've been different.

00:56I'm glad you've found something that you're passionate about.

00:59It's been exactly what I was missing.

01:01And not just the work.

01:02It's the little smiles on all the dogs' faces.

01:04And being around people like you.

01:07I want to meet him.

01:09He's going to be alone this Christmas.

01:10You should invite him to spend it with us.

01:12One day, someone will see him for who he is.

01:14I wish everyone could see animals the way you do.

01:16I hope you recognize all of the good and strength that I see each time I look at you.

01:20And not just because of what you did for the shelter, but because you're amazing.
