00:57Speaking of racing, I think it's time to reveal the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo.

01:26Introducing the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo.

01:55Wow, that's what I call a racing car, right?
02:23The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo is a performance beast.
02:28With two electric motors, it delivers instant power and torque,
02:32launching from zero to 100 in just two seconds,
02:36and on to a top speed of 300 km per hour.
02:40So fast, you won't even have time to say OMG.
02:45And just as its engineering and performance pushes boundaries,
02:50so does its next level of design.
02:53For that, over to you, Mark.

02:57Yeah, so here it is, our vision of the future of GSE,
03:01and of course, much more.
03:03As mentioned earlier, we deliberately chose our favorite small car,
03:07the Corsa, as the basis of our inspiration,
03:10bringing small car agility with the max of everything.
03:15You've already heard about the fantastic potential performance
03:19of this concept, so now let's talk about the exciting design.
03:24This concept not only represents our vision for GSE,
03:29but we also take a confident step forward
03:32with our bold and pure design language.
03:34So let's go take a closer look.
03:37Of course, the very first thing you see
03:39is the very strong illuminated compass that we have,
03:43with this center line lining up with our traditional center peak
03:47that we have in all of our cars.
03:50But this vehicle is about contrast.
03:53Much like our bold and pure language,
03:56this is about strong contrast.
03:58And for example, when you look at the white areas,
04:00with this fluidity and sculpture,
04:03and yet still structured precision,
04:06combined with these very graphic technical areas
04:10in the yellow and black here in the lower areas.
04:13But these areas of contrast are there for a very deliberate reason.
04:19We're a German company and we do things with purpose.
04:23So if you look at those functional technical areas,
04:26they perform a very strong role.
04:28And let me just talk you through some of the key aerodynamics.
04:32For example, from down low, you can get the airflow of the car
04:36to really optimize over the top of the vehicle here,
04:40really giving fantastic optimal performance.
04:43And then using these very precise, pronounced fenders
04:48that are done in a sustainable material,
04:51these also guide the airflow down this very dramatic body side here.
04:57And then talking of dramatic,
05:00the separation of that airflow is done with two dramatic elements here.
05:06With it, the roof spoiler and the venturi duct here
05:10really extend to give the ultimate aero drag performance.
05:15But within the game, you can also see that this acts as an air brake.
05:20So again, really tied to the performance of the car itself.
05:25And of course, this is not just about the exterior,
05:30but the interior is equally exciting.
05:33So even though this interior was developed with racing in mind,
05:38we ensured every detail was consistent with our Opel Pure experience.
05:44Information is reduced to a minimum.
05:47And using a head-up display,
05:49we allow the driver to keep their eyes on the road.
05:53Uniquely, there are no formal screens.
05:57So here, additional information is displayed under the IP surface
06:03using the latest LED technology.
06:06Also, the unique single seat not only has a bold graphic,
06:12it's also been developed with light weight in mind.
06:16The seat is split into two,
06:18with the lower pad moulded into the chassis
06:21and the top half built into the upper roll cage.
06:24This allows for maximum weight savings.
06:27Also, to optimise ergonomics,
06:30the foot pedals then move towards the fixed driver position,
06:34making this a true driver's car.
06:38So clearly, the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo
06:43is the ultimate expression of the GSE.
06:47But it also strongly hints at the exciting future of design for Opel.
