00:03magkatuwang ang Fashion Aid Philippines at Department of Trade and Industry

00:07sa programang Malikhaing Pinoy The Grant 2025.

00:11Tampok doon ang iba't ibang kasuotan, accessories, bags at furniture na proudly Pinoy made.

00:17May unang balita si Bon Aquino.

00:22Nagtagisan sa creativity at talent ang mga Filipino designers sa paggawa ng mga kasuotan,

00:28accessories, bags at furnitures sa Malikhaing Pinoy The Grant 2025 na ginanap sa Intramuros, Maynila.

00:35Kabilang sa entry, siyang Violeta accent chair ni Dea China na ito,

00:39nagawa sa hand-woven abaka rope katuwang ang basket makers ng Antiquera Bohol,

00:44ang damit na igurotak ni Ira Longshop na tinahi gamit ang tela mula sa benggit,

00:49ang gugma baby doll dress ni Hill Salazar na gawa mula sa retaso,

00:52at naya bag ni Kiko Quintanar na crafted mula sa kahoy at dinisenyuhan ng shell.

00:58Ang patin pala kay inorganize ng Passion Aid Philippines,

01:01isang non-profit organization na layong pumulong sa blooming creative designer sa bansa,

01:07katuwang ang Department of Trade and Industry sa pamagitan ng Malikhaing Pinoy Program.

01:11Itong The Grant, para bang in-expose niyo yung creativity ng mga Filipino.

01:17So it's a platform wherein if you're a young designer, and if you want to join, put your work out there,

01:24yun yung pinaka-purpose nito. It's really honoring the creativity of Filipinos.

01:28Kabilang sa criteria for judging ay ang creativity, global appeal, execution and technical skill, originality at marketability.

01:38Mula sa daandang applicants nationwide, dalawang po sa kanilang itinanghal na finalists.

01:43Part nun is mentorship program. Ginag-guide sila to mold them.

01:49Siyempre, pag nag-apply sila, they're raw talent.

01:53So binibigyan namin sila ng advice on what to do, yung design directives, on how to do it.

02:01Present sa awarding ceremony si First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos,

02:05na ayon sa Fashion Aid Philippines, ay nagpakita ng buong suporta

02:08at tumulong para maging accessible ang local fabrics sa mga designer.

02:13Present din ang renowned Filipino fashion designers na si Naino Soto na isa sa judges,

02:18Francis Libiran, Paul Cabral at Michael Leyva.

02:21Dumalo rin sa event ang mga miyembro ng Diplomatic Corps at si GMA Network Senior Vice President

02:26at GMA Pictures President, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdez.

02:30Ang nagwaging grad winner ay si Dea China, na lumika ng Violeta Accent Chair.

02:35It's actually inspired by my lola.

02:37And I think na it's based sa story namin na I was raised by a single mom.

02:44So yung inspiration ko is them.

02:48I think that I want to challenge myself.

02:52It's hard to make a chair.

02:57Nakatanggap siya ng 1 million pesos at Australia Study Grant mula sa Embahada ng Australia.

03:03Nagbigay rin ang CORE at Study Grant sa mga Embahada ng Australia, Malaysia at Japan sa mga piling finalists.
