In this video tutorial, I’ll show you how to export all your Snapchat memories — images and videos — to Gmail or any other device.

Snapchat is one of the most popular social media apps and is known for offering more privacy compared to many others. It has over 900 million users worldwide. Recently, Snapchat updated its storage policy:

Users with more than 5GB of memories data must either purchase a monthly storage plan, or their older memories may be removed from Snapchat’s storage.

So, let’s start the step-by-step guide 👇

1️⃣ Open the Snapchat app
2️⃣ Tap on your Profile Picture
3️⃣ Go to Settings
4️⃣ Scroll down and find the option “My Data”
5️⃣ Here, you will see details of everything — Memories, Chats, Media, Account Information, Chat History, Support History, etc. Select the items you want to export.
6️⃣ After selecting, tap on “Next”
7️⃣ Choose a time frame (select “All Time” if you want everything).
8️⃣ Confirm your email address and then tap Submit.

✅ Snapchat will now start creating a backup/export file of your selected data. This process may take a few hours or even a couple of days. Once it’s ready, you’ll receive a notification via email with a link to download your data.
