00:22My designs are very unique and they reflect a lot of cheerfulness of play of colors and a lot of vibrancy and my name means Adha, the brand name means Adha which means style in Urdu which is a woman's style which is totally defining my collection.
00:41The entire philosophy is basically mixing colors and mixing Indian traditional culture with the Arab style and I design especially for the Arab women but I try to include all the Indian embroideries and Indian cultures into my clothes.
00:58I've always been inspired by my mother and as a child I've grown up seeing her dress up in the most simple fashion but being very different and the way she used to carry herself and that she's been my idol always.
01:15My designs are simple, elegant and I just want the woman to feel comfortable. It's relaxed fashion which I feel is classic and still has a hint of glamour in it.
01:28My whole idea is that fashion can be relaxed, it doesn't have to be very structured and especially the Arab fashion for Ramadan where it's very hot summer days.
01:40I like people to wear light fabrics, I like people to wear light fabrics, extremely light fabrics but with heavier embroideries. So it's comfortable, easy to wear and still look down this.
01:51The highlight is the highlight is basically the mixing of the fabrics, the prints. I play with a lot of different prints with florals, geometric, abstract, a lot of different textures and it's just enhanced some places with sequins, a little bit of embroidery, zardozi, zari which just gives a hint of glamour to it and basically the whole idea is to enhance the feminity when a woman is wearing it.
02:21I've always been inspired by the Mughal era. There are two people, one is Naeem Khan who is simple yet extremely stylish and chic and Sabi Saatchi who mixes a lot of textures and prints and still comes out with the most beautiful designs.
02:37My collections are available at Studio 8 in Dubai, Dubai Mall and also in Qatar, in Jeddah, in Riyadh, in Selections, in Newbury and in Kuwait by appointment only.
