00:00This is what Pakistan is really like, caring, friendly and hospitable people.
00:18But for decades, this country has received a horrible reputation across global media.
00:24One terror event happens and people assume that all 215 million people in Pakistan are
00:29terrorists.
00:30I received thousands of messages before my trip here, mostly from Americans and Indians
00:36who warned me to be extra careful for my safety.
00:39And so I arrived here a bit nervous.
00:41What's up guys, we have just arrived in Pakistan.
00:45But then immediately realized that everyone is wrong.
00:49It's a shame that this country doesn't get much positive attention, because what I have
00:52been experiencing goes beyond words.
00:55So just to demonstrate that Pakistan is safe and free of terrorists, I've decided to
00:59fully expose myself by doing a public meetup today in Karachi.
01:04I announced it yesterday all over my Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, inviting anyone to
01:08join me from 4-6pm at a huge public park.
01:11I'm Hussi Maktar, mayor of Karachi.
01:13I even met the mayor of Karachi to get his permission.
01:18As a mega city with 25 million people, Karachi has every kind of human soul on the planet.
01:24Rich and poor, happy and sad, old and young.
01:27Right?
01:28So if there are any terrorists here who really want to kill this white, Jewish, American red-headed
01:32guy, then he'd probably show up at the meetup.
01:37Okay, we are arriving now at the meetup.
01:43Deanna has an amazing henna tattoo art on her arm.
01:46And I'm super excited to meet all you guys.
01:48How would you give an advice for someone who's novice of making videos?
01:52It was an amazing afternoon with over 200 people who dropped by, including a special
01:57appearance from the mayor himself.
01:58I'm in the middle of a Karachi meetup and the mayor showed up.
02:01Oh, man.
02:02Hi.
02:03How are you?
02:04Good to see you again.
02:05Great.
02:06We talked about traveling the world, my experiences in Pakistan, and then I was touched by hearing
02:10all of their stories.
02:11This really happened today in Pakistan, and I could not be any happier.
02:30So did I survive?
02:32Hell yes.
02:33Did I get kidnapped or shot at?
02:35Absolutely not.
02:36We are just wrapping up the meetup here.
02:37It's been incredible.
02:38What did you think, man?
02:39It was amazing, bro.
02:40It was so friendly.
02:41They gave me so many gifts.
02:42I have like 10 gifts.
02:43I don't even know how to bring it on the plane to Lahore.
02:44But I just want to let you guys know that Pakistanis are some of the warmest, most hospitable
02:48people I've ever met in this world.
02:50And you guys have to come to Pakistan.
02:51Do me a favor and come to this country, and you'll see what it's like for yourself.
