00:16introduced in a 20-second parody video at the Film Industry Conference in Zurich.

00:30Subtitled and monetized on TikTok by lunchtime, Dutch actor-producer Aline van der Velden,

00:35whose London-based AI production studio Particle 6 created Tilly Norwood,

00:39claims the project was starting to turn heads. The union says in a statement,

00:44quote, creativity is and should remain human-centered. The union says it is opposed

00:49to the replacement of human performers by what it calls synthetics. Van der Velden tries

00:54to ease concerns in an Instagram post, saying Tilly Norwood, quote,

00:58is not a replacement for a human being but a creative work, a piece of art. Like many forms

01:04of art before her, she sparks conversation and that in itself shows the power of creativity.

01:09Concerns over Hollywood actors and writers being exploited or replaced by AI-generated scripts and

01:15performers was a major issue in SAG-AFTRA's recent contract talks with studios and streaming platforms.
