00:00In this video I will tell you that how you can fix Excel status bar not showing average count or sum.
00:09For example when you select the data you will see here that is average count and numerical count and sum.
00:20So sometimes it is not showing like this one I have selected the data and you can see that there is no sum count and average.
00:32So how you can enable that.
00:34So right click on the gray bar this is called status bar and you will see the menu of status bar.
00:43And here you can see average is not ticked.
00:47You need to click on the tick mark.
00:50You also need count tick mark and also tick mark sum and numerical count.
00:56So keep in mind if your selection contains mostly text or blank cells Excel won't show numerical calculation.
01:04So make sure your data is actually numbers not stored as text.
01:09And that's all.
01:11Now you can see that.
01:13Select the data.
01:15Now it is showing at the bottom of the Excel status bar.
01:20So this simple trick saves your time a lot because you can easily know how the number of entries in this Excel data.
01:30Here are two more tips.
01:31If your Excel window is too small the bar may be collapsed.
01:35Maximize your Excel window.
01:37And another factor is that sometimes Excel adds in or a protected worksheet can disable features.
